Helena Market Days

Helena Market Days Shelby Living magazine's "Best of the Best" farmers market for 2012, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2019! Market hours are 8 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Helena Market Days occur every Saturday from the first weekend in June through the last weekend in August. Our market is located in Old Town Helena on the bank of Buck Creek just below the waterfall. The address is Amphitheater Park, 4151 Helena Road, Helena, Alabama. This is a rain-or-shine event except in the case of severe weather.

🍑 Peaches — Chilton County peaches are at PEAK. This is the moment. Don't wait.
🫐 Blueberries — loaded and perfect right now
🍅 Tomatoes — early varieties coming in strong; better every week through July 🥒 Cucumbers — crisp and plentiful
🌽 Sweet corn — just starting to show up!
🥬 Summer squash & zucchini — all season long
🫘 Green beans — fresh off the vine
🥦 Okra — just getting started (it gets more abundant all summer) 🧅 Sweet onions — still here

Until then? Grab the peaches. Grab the blueberries. Grab the tomatoes. This is Alabama summer and it doesn't get better than this. 🌞

We're setting up a honey tasting at the Helena Market Days booth, and we want you to come try it. Local honey, fresh from Alabama, stop by, grab a taste, and take some home.

And if you've never had honey on a fresh-sliced Chilton County peach in the middle of June… well. Saturday's your day. 🍑
