Update: Our partner provider has completed the repairs and our network has recovered. Thank you for your patience.

Attention #MontanaInternet Customers in the Great Falls and Lewistown areas. Due to last week's fiber cut in Cascade, our partner provider will be conducting emergency maintenance on the cable that services our network this evening.

Tonight, Wednesday, April 20th, between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. our Great Falls and Lewistown network will be operating on limited bandwidth capacity causing slow and intermittent connections.

Due to a damaged fiber-optic cable in the Cascade area, Montana Internet engineers are working with a third-party provider to restore services in the Great Falls and Lewistown regions. While most of our customers are still connected to the internet, download and upload speeds may be impacted. We will update this post as additional information becomes available.

At Montana Internet, our Customer Care Advocates are the first point of contact with our customers. We often refer to our CCA's as the “face and voice” of our entire company and mission.

We’re looking for someone that is consistently reliable to show up every single day with a smile, excited to contribute, and WOW our customers and your fellow team members.

Candidates must be friendly, confident, prompt, and dependable. In this role, you will be interacting with customers over the phone, via email, and in-person, so great communication skills are key.

We are actively seeking candidates that show a record of experience that highlights their attention to detail, reliability, and passion for serving others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Customer Care Advocate:

- Exuding our mission in all that you do - focus on helping our customers succeed
- Greeting walk-in customers and guests in a friendly, upbeat manner
- Managing our lobby, creating a clean, organized, and inviting environment
- Inbound and outbound phones (high call volume)
- Utilizing our internal systems to process customer payments, schedule appointments, and make any number of account changes in person or over the phone
- Monitoring several spreadsheets and tracking internal support tickets
- Handling outgoing mail, ensuring that deliveries are dispatched appropriately
- Basic clerical, office, and administrative support as required
- Other general duties as assigned
- Above all, providing the highest levels of customer service possible

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Computer skills, including MS Suite, web
Some understanding of internet protocols and basics preferred
Excellent time management skills are essential

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of front office or call center experience
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a drug and background screen
Work Environment & Company/Culture Fit

Must be able to work normal hours of 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday in office
Consistency and reliability are critical
Ability to work overtime when needed
Must be a team player with a great attitude
Ability to wear several different hats (like we all do here!)
Not afraid to ask for help or provide feedback and input
Interested in learning and growing professionally and personally

At Montana Internet, our Technical Support Agents support, troubleshoot, and manage high-speed fixed wireless and fiber optic internet connections, along with additional data services for our customers.

Technical Support Agents report directly to the Director of Technical Services and are tasked with providing the highest level of local customer service to our subscribers via phone, email, or chat.

We provide amazing hands-on training and coaching.

This role is perfect for an entry-level candidate who is excited to learn and grow, both professionally and personally.

We are looking for tech-savvy candidates who are kind, smart, love a good challenge, and aren't afraid of learning new things. Basic knowledge and moderate proficiency of computers preferred.

Candidates who are schedule-flexible are also preferred. Some weekends and nights will be required.

Please come out by the Glass Slipper!!! We're a mile from Canyon Ferry Road and though Line of Sight is better than dial up, it's glitchy, slow and just not good enough for 4 people in one house!!!

Any service in White Sulphur Springs? Triangle is too expensive plus we're forced to have a phone along with Internet service. We need a Plan B. ; )
