The closing of Irwindale Speedway leaves a massive void in the Southern California racing scene, which has seen a string of race track closures over the decades.

Bakersfield, Calif. (December 10, 2024) – The CARS Tour West announced today Spears Manufacturing will join the series for the 2025 season as the entitlement sponsor and will be renamed Spears CARS Tour West.

Synonymous with West Coast racing and helping build tomorrow’s champions, the Spears name has been a staple in racing since 1987 when West Coast Stock Car Hall of Famer Wayne Spears and his wife Connie founded Spears Motorsports. Since making their way on to the racing scene, Spears has been instrumental in West Coast racing from sponsoring drivers and series to having their own team.

“Today, Spears Manufacturing reaffirms our commitment to motorsports that has been such an important part of the Spears family and business for decades,” said Matt Baker, Vice President of Sales Operations for Spears Manufacturing Company. “We are proud to partner with the CARS Tour West and our friend, Kevin Harvick. The 2025 season will mark the 30th anniversary of the first year Kevin was behind the wheel for Spears Motorsports, and we look forward to being a part of the excitement the CARS Tour West is bringing to racetracks throughout the west.”

Catching Up With The 2024 Spears Srl Southwest Tour Pro Late Model Champion Christian Bazen

The 2024 racing season presented a mix of challenges and successes for Christian Bazen, ultimately marking it as one of his most significant achievements. The collaborative efforts of the race shop and the racetrack faced significant challenges, yet they remained committed to support their driver throughout the season. Competing across various venues, including The LVMS Bullring, Tucson Speedway., Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway, Irwindale Speedway, The New Stockton 99 Speedway, and ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY in Roseville, California, he demonstrated remarkable versatility.

We asked Christian what this season meant to him. “Winning the 2024 Spears SRL Pro Late Model Championship validates how hard this team works, each one of them,” he said. The presence of the Title Sponsor prominently displayed on Christian's car evokes a sense of pride. “It really means so much, I have to thank Spears for all of their support.”

Christian anticipates the upcoming 2025 season with enthusiasm, eager to compete in the Pro Late Models and return to a complete racing schedule. “I’m really excited, we’re getting a new Clattenberg Racing Fabrication (Race CRF) chassis and we’re getting setup help from Linny White.” The support Christian has received and the expansion of his network reflect his character.

Throughout the season, Christian has consistently expressed his appreciation for the support he receives from others. “First I want to thank the entire Spears Family, and my Grandfather. Scott Lynch Media for the support. I want to thank my entire Family and Friends and I want to thank all the amazing fans who came out and supported us at all the different tracks. We’ll see everyone at the races!”

Irwindale Speedway has consistently been regarded as Christian's "Home Track." With the recent announcement of its closure, Christian eagerly anticipates the "Last Run" at Irwindale scheduled for December 21st.

MONSTER TRUCK BASH RETURNS TO ROSEVILLE FOR FALL APPEARANCE ON OCTOBER 19TH!

The stars of the Malicious Monster Truck Tour will soar above Roseville on October 19th with the return of the A-All Mini Storage Monster Truck Bash to All American Speedway. A matinee show at 2pm and a night show at 7pm are on tap along with NASCAR oval track Super Stock and F4 racing also on tap. The high-flying Titan will be joined by a full-field of trucks such as Rockstar, Cali Kid, Identity Theft, Spitfire, Weekend Warrior, and the fire breathing car crushing dinosaur Megasaurus.

Tickets for the A-All Mini Storage Monster Truck Bash are available online at www.AllAmericanSpeedway.com and www.TheFOAT.com General admission seating is priced at just $20 for adults, kids ages 2-12 are just TEN BUCKS, and kids under 2 are FREE. Each show features a free pre-race party on the front stretch to meet the drivers and see the trucks up close. Monster Truck rides are also available for a nominal fee. The matinee pre-race show begins at 12pm while the night show pre-race show is at 5pm.
A post-race fireworks show is also planned during the night races!

The NASCAR / NAPA Auto Parts Super Stocks and F4s will feature local stock car drivers battling for championship points. Competitors will reach speeds over 80 miles per hour on the one-third mile speedway Grounds in Roseville. Action is part of the exciting 70th season of motorsports at All American Speedway! Heat races will take place in the afternoon show with main events at night.

The Monster Trucks in the A-All Mini Storage Monster Truck Bash participate in Best Trick, Freestyle, and Monster Truck Racing in each show with approximately two hours of action! Bill and Lorna Payne have been bringing their Malicious Monster Truck Tour to Roseville since 2017.
