HENDERSON LIVE: OUR BIGGEST FANS HAVE NEVER EVEN MET US, AND SOME OF Y’ALL NEED A HOBBY 😂

Henderson, Ky. — Some people watch Henderson LIVE for the news and entertainment. Others apparently treat us like a full-time investigative assignment. Spy’s from the Mayor. 🤣

You ever notice how some of our most dedicated followers have never met us, never sat down with us, never had a conversation with us, yet somehow seem to know everything about what we do?

They follow the page. They watch the videos. They monitor the posts. They track the conversations. They study every move like we’re a missing episode of CSI: Henderson County.

Somewhere, there’s probably somebody sitting in a recliner with three phones, a half-eaten bag of chips, and a notebook titled The Suspicious Activities of Henderson LIVE.

Buddy, we posted a picture of a pothole. You can take the night off. 😂

And here’s the part that really gets us laughing. Some folks spend more time worrying about our lives than we spend worrying about theirs.

We’re over here living our lives, raising our kids, supporting our families, working on projects, and enjoying the community we call home. Meanwhile, somebody we’ve never met is apparently working the night shift at the Henderson LIVE Department of Imaginary Investigations.

We appreciate the dedication. The benefits are terrible, though, and the position pays absolutely nothing.

THE FUNNY THING ABOUT LIVING A LIFE YOU'RE PROUD OF

One thing that seems to confuse a few people is that not everybody lives the same way.

Some of us are perfectly happy waking up, going to work, spending time with our families, enjoying our hobbies, and going to bed without needing to numb our minds or create a daily disaster just to get through life.

We don't have to be perfect to be proud of the lives we've built. We just have to be comfortable looking in the mirror and knowing who we are.

And no, having an opinion doesn't automatically make somebody a bad person. Disagreeing with somebody doesn't mean you have to destroy their livelihood, invent a story about them, or dedicate the next six months to monitoring their Facebook activity.

You can disagree with us. You can criticize our opinions. You can even think we're a couple of knuckleheads.

That's America.

But if you find yourself spending more hours studying somebody else's life than enjoying your own, it might be time to step outside and see if the grass needs mowing.

Fall is here. The leaves aren't going to rake themselves, folks.

Folks, you don't have to like me. You don't have to agree with a single thing I say. You don't even have to follow Henderson LIVE.

But why should somebody be dragged into a disagreement over opinions? We live in America!! We are all allowed to have an opinion!

And before anybody starts acting like every person who works in the people industry and has a spotless past, here's a little reality check.

Then you discover that the person has an opinion you don't like, and suddenly you're demanding a congressional investigation into the kitchen.

Now THAT is some Henderson County seasoning. 😂

If the opinions are good, the service is good, and the not breaking laws, maybe we should stop pretending that political or personal disagreements automatically tell us whether somebody can be a successful person.

Judge the person on the merits. Judge them fairly. And stop acting like disliking somebody gives you a personal license to destroy everything they've worked to build.

MEANWHILE, REAL STORIES ARE HAPPENING RIGHT HERE AT HOME

And while some people are spending their days obsessing over Henderson LIVE, there are actual stories happening in our community that deserve attention.

Teachers, public officials, business owners, parents, and ordinary residents can all find themselves in the headlines when serious allegations or documented events arise and they find the handcuffs.

When a teacher is accused of treating a child like she's Mike Tyson preparing for a championship fight, that's a story worth paying attention to. If an arrest or court case follows, the facts, official records, and outcome matter.

Children deserve protection. Taxpayers deserve accountability. And the public deserves accurate information.

That's a whole lot more important than spending your afternoon trying to figure out who somebody follows on Facebook.

We can laugh at ourselves, make jokes about local life, question public decisions, and still recognize that serious matters deserve serious reporting.

That's the difference between discussing what happens in a community and turning somebody else's existence into your personal hobby.

HERE'S OUR MESSAGE TO THE PEOPLE WHO CAN'T STOP WATCHING

We aren't asking you to like us.

We aren't asking you to agree with us.

We aren't asking you to buy anything, support anything, or even read another post.

But if you genuinely cannot stand Henderson LIVE, why are you here every day?

If every post makes you furious, every video ruins your afternoon, and every opinion sends you into a three-hour investigation, maybe the unfollow button is the most powerful tool Facebook has ever given you.

Use it.

Go fishing. Take your wife to dinner. Play with your kids. Work on that old truck sitting in the driveway. Go watch the river roll by. Call somebody you haven't talked to in six months.

There is an entire world outside this little rectangle in your hand.

And to those who support us, disagree with us respectfully, send us tips, share their experiences, and help us keep the community informed, we appreciate you more than you know.

Henderson LIVE is here to talk about Henderson, the good, the bad, the funny, the frustrating, and everything in between.

We don't expect everybody to agree with us. We don't expect everybody to like us.

But we will continue living our lives, raising our families, sharing our opinions, and covering the community.

And to our most dedicated fans who have never actually met us?

We hope you're getting enough sleep.

Because at this rate, you're putting in more hours watching Henderson LIVE than some people put in at their actual jobs. ESPECIALLY ALL the time you spend trespassing on our land.

HENDERSON LIVE: You don't have to like us, but apparently, some of y'all just can't look away. OR STAY OFF OUR PROPERTY! 😂

🚨 HENDERSON LIVE: A JUDGE, FOUR DISCIPLINARY CASES, A LICENSE SUSPENSION, AND A PUBLIC REPRIMAND

HENDERSON, KENTUCKY — You know how people say you can't make this stuff up? Sometimes, all you have to do is read the court records.

Henderson Family Court Judge David Curlin has a professional disciplinary record that includes a suspension imposed by the Kentucky Supreme Court and a separate public reprimand from the Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission.

And folks, this is why doing your homework matters.

We're not talking about rumors, gossip, or somebody's cousin's Facebook post. We're talking about official court documents.

🚨 FOUR DISCIPLINARY MATTERS

In April 2025, the Kentucky Supreme Court approved a disciplinary agreement suspending Curlin's law license for one year, with 90 days to serve and the remainder probated for one year.

The case involved four disciplinary matters related to his work as an attorney.

Here's what the court records describe:

1. A personal injury lawsuit that missed its deadline.

Curlin failed to file a client's slip-and-fall lawsuit before the legal deadline expired. The client was not informed that the deadline had passed.

2. An appeal that was never filed.

In another case, a client wanted to appeal a jury verdict. The court's opinion states that Curlin acknowledged failing to file the appeal and failing to tell the client he would not do so until outstanding attorney fees were paid.

3. A client whose case was dismissed.

Another matter involved problems communicating with a client, handling the client's file, and responding to communications. The client's personal injury lawsuit was eventually dismissed for lack of prosecution.

4. A potential claim that went without proper follow-up.

The court also addressed a matter in which a woman sought help with a potential claim. Curlin acknowledged failing to communicate with her about it.

These are summaries of the court's findings, not criminal convictions.

🚨 THEN CAME THE PUBLIC REPRIMAND

In August 2025, the Kentucky Judicial Conduct Commission issued Curlin a separate public reprimand.

The commission's order addressed failures to respond to bar complaints and formal charges, as well as failures to comply with disciplinary directives while he was serving as a judge.

That's a separate chapter in the story, and residents deserve to know it exists.

WHAT ABOUT THE MEDICATION ISSUE?

The Supreme Court's opinion discussed Curlin's explanation that medication shortages during the COVID-19 pandemic affected his prescribed ADHD treatment.

Let's be clear: having ADHD or taking medication does not make somebody unfit to be a judge. That's not the point.

The issue is the documented professional conduct, the court's findings, and the disciplinary action that followed.

You can’t take care of your own personal needs but we gave you keys to ruling over our lives! Now that’s a broken system!!

HERE'S THE BIG QUESTION, HENDERSON

Family Court judges make decisions involving children, custody, parents, and families during some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

That is an enormous responsibility.

Nobody expects a judge to be perfect. But the public has every right to expect professionalism, accountability, and compliance with the rules that govern the legal system.

If an attorney mishandles a case, misses deadlines, or fails to communicate with clients, those actions can have real consequences for real people.

And when the person holding the robe has a disciplinary record, residents have every right to examine it.

The robe doesn't put anybody above reasonable questions.

📄 READ THE RECORD YOURSELF

We encourage everyone to review the actual documents and make up their own minds.

Henderson LIVE believes accountability should apply to everybody, especially people entrusted with decisions that affect our families.

No rumors. No invented allegations. Just the records, the facts, and questions the public has every right to ask.

Henderson, have you read the documents? Do you believe the public knows enough about the professional records of the people serving in our courts?

Let's discuss it, but keep the conversation factual and respectful.

🚨😂 BREAKING: SPOTTSVILLE BIGFOOT ACCUSED OF GRAND THEFT JET SKI, PUBLIC DRUNKENNESS, AND WAGING WAR ON LOCAL SQUIRRELS!

HENDERSON COUNTY, KY. — Well, folks, we interrupt your regularly scheduled gossip about city hall, potholes, and who’s sleeping with whom to bring you a developing situation down on the Green River.

SPOTTSVILLE BIGFOOT MAY BE BACK.

And apparently, he’s lost his ever-loving mind.

We’ve received reports that our favorite 7-foot-10 walking carpet was spotted last weekend near the Green River. Now, before you spit your sweet tea through your nose and start loading up the four-wheeler, let’s remember that not everything you hear around Spottsville is necessarily true.

Some stories are exaggerated.

Some stories are misunderstood.

And some stories start with a man saying, “Now, I ain’t been drinking, but you ain’t gonna believe what I just saw.”

But hear us out.

SEVEN MILLION TRAIL CAMERAS AND NOT ONE DECENT BIGFOOT PICTURE?

Let’s do a little math here.

We’ve got enough trail cameras in Henderson County to monitor every deer, possum, raccoon, coyote, and suspicious-looking mailbox in western Kentucky.

Some of these folks can identify a 10-point buck at 200 yards through three layers of fog. They know which deer is missing a left antler, which one has been visiting the neighbor’s corn pile, and which one has been carrying on with another deer behind the barn.

Somebody’s camera has caught a squirrel stealing a peanut at 2:14 a.m. on a Tuesday.

Yet somehow, a 7-foot-10 beast covered in hair has managed to evade every camera in the county.

Either Bigfoot is the most intelligent creature ever discovered, or he’s got a better understanding of privacy settings than half the people on Facebook.

And now we’re supposed to believe he’s riding a jet ski?

🚤 THE GREAT SPOTTSVILLE JET SKI HEIST

According to the latest story, Bigfoot allegedly stole a person’s jet ski and started running up and down the Green River like he’d just won the lottery at the gas station.

Apparently, he also had a cooler full of b**r.

Let that sink in.

A creature that supposedly hasn’t been identified by modern science has somehow mastered personal watercraft operation, cooler transportation, and river navigation.

But there’s one small problem.

HE COULDN’T OPEN THE B**R CANS.

Somewhere, a mechanical engineer just threw his diploma in the trash.

We can put a robot on Mars. We can perform surgery with robotic instruments. We can track a package from Louisville to your front porch within 12 minutes.

But apparently, nobody has taught Bigfoot how to use a can opener.

And instead of asking for help, the creature allegedly began throwing unopened b**r cans at squirrels.

Because naturally, when you’re an eight-foot-tall cryptid who can’t get a beverage open, the first thing you do is declare war on the local squirrel population.

🐿️ TEN FLOATING SQUIRRELS AND ONE VERY BAD AFTERNOON

We’re hearing reports of TEN FLOATING SQUIRRELS in the Green River.

TEN!

Now, we cannot independently verify the squirrel situation, but if somebody’s out there conducting a squirrel census, we’d appreciate a report.

Was this a coordinated attack?

Were the squirrels heckling him?

Did one of them know how to open a b**r and refuse to share the information?

We may never know.

But somewhere on the Green River, there may be a squirrel sitting on a log telling his grandchildren about the day a giant hairy man tried to turn their family reunion into a scene from Jaws.

And if those squirrels could talk, we suspect their attorney would already be on the phone.

🎸 THE ALAN JACKSON INCIDENT

Now comes the part that really has us concerned.

Reports suggest Bigfoot found a bandanna, put on a life vest, and fired up a Bluetooth speaker playing Alan Jackson.

Folks, if you’re 7-foot-10, covered in hair, riding a stolen jet ski, throwing b**r cans at squirrels, and listening to country music loud enough to wake up the catfish, you aren’t exactly trying to keep a low profile.

You’re trying to get discovered.

At this point, we suspect Bigfoot is one karaoke machine away from entering the Henderson County Fair talent show.

And that’s when things reportedly got REALLY confusing.

IS IT BIGFOOT OR JIM BOB FROM SPOTTSVILLE?

Apparently, some people couldn’t tell the difference between Bigfoot and Jim Bob from Spottsville.

We understand.

Both have approximately the same body-hair color. Both are built like they’ve been training for the All-You-Can-Eat Buffet Championship. And both can apparently disappear into the woods without leaving behind a forwarding address.

We hear Jim Bob might be a little heavier, but we aren’t going to publish a weight estimate without giving the man an opportunity to stand on the scales.

We’re journalists, not monsters.

The real question is whether Jim Bob has an alibi.

Was he home last weekend?

Was he at the gas station?

Was he seen purchasing a bandanna, a life vest, and ten cans of b**r he couldn’t open?

And most importantly, does Jim Bob own a Bluetooth speaker?

Because if he does, we’re going to need to speak with him.

Preferably somewhere away from the river.

📸 HENDERSON LIVE IS OFFICIALLY REQUESTING EVIDENCE

We have never personally seen Bigfoot riding a jet ski.

We’ve never seen him wearing a life vest.

And we have absolutely never seen an eight-foot hairy man trying to operate an aluminum b**r can while Alan Jackson sings in the background.

But we’ve seen stranger things happen in Henderson County.

We’ve seen people park a $90,000 truck in the grass beside a perfectly good driveway. We’ve seen folks argue with strangers on Facebook for six consecutive hours and then wave at each other at Walmart.

So we’re not ruling anything out.

If you have photographs, video, trail-camera footage, security footage, or a blurry image that looks like a Sasquatch riding a Sea-Doo, PLEASE SEND IT TO HENDERSON LIVE.

If you have footage of Jim Bob, we’d also like to see it.

If you are Jim Bob, we’d appreciate a statement.

If you are Bigfoot, please stop throwing b**r cans at the squirrels. Those little fellas have families, too.

And if you own the missing jet ski, we hope you have insurance.

Because explaining to your insurance company that a mythical woodland creature stole your watercraft, couldn't open his b**r, and used your property to conduct squirrel warfare is going to require one heck of a claims adjuster.

THE BOTTOM LINE:

We need proof.

We need answers.

We need a squirrel welfare check.

And somebody needs to tell Bigfoot that if he’s going to live in Spottsville, he needs to learn three things:

How to open a b**r.

How to respect private property.

How to turn down Alan Jackson before midnight.

Until then, keep your eyes on the Green River, your cameras pointed toward the woods, and your jet skis locked up.

Because apparently, the biggest threat to Henderson County’s wildlife isn’t development, traffic, or even coyotes.

It’s a giant hairy man with poor beverage-opening skills and a personal vendetta against squirrels.

HENDERSON LIVE: REPORTING THE STORIES NOBODY ELSE IS HAIRY ENOUGH TO COVER. 😂

DISCLAIMER: This is fictional community satire. The alleged Bigfoot sighting, jet ski theft, b**r-can incident, and floating squirrels have not been verified. No actual Bigfoot, Jim Bob, jet ski, or squirrel has been confirmed to be involved.

🚨 HENDERSON LIVE: THE TWIN BRIDGES HAVE APPARENTLY BECOME NASCAR, AND NOBODY TOLD THE REST OF US! 😂🏁

HENDERSON, KY. — There's a new driving phenomenon happening on the Twin Bridges, and quite frankly, we're not sure whether to call KYTC, the Kentucky State Police, NASCAR, or the producers of The Dukes of Hazzard.

Because somewhere between Henderson and Evansville, a few drivers have apparently decided that the best way to cross a bridge is to occupy TWO LANES with ONE vehicle.

That's right, folks. Forget zipper merging. Forget lane discipline. Forget the fact that there are actual painted lines on the pavement for a reason.

Welcome to the Twin Bridges Personal Space Protection Program, where your neighbor's car is apparently a greater threat than the Ohio River beneath you.

Henderson LIVE has heard from several people about this growing driving habit, and the explanations we've heard deserve their own episode of America's Funniest Home Videos.

🚗 THEORY NUMBER ONE: "I DON'T FEEL SAFE WITH ANOTHER CAR BESIDE ME!"

We've heard from drivers who say they intentionally straddle the lanes because they don't feel comfortable having another vehicle beside them while crossing the bridge.

We understand that the Twin Bridges can make people nervous. They're old, they're elevated, and nobody wants to have a bad day over the Ohio River.

But here's where the math gets interesting.

You're nervous about one car being beside you, so your solution is to make yourself the obstacle preventing ANY car from passing you.

That's like being afraid of somebody standing next to you at Walmart, so you lay down across the entire aisle.

"Excuse me, ma'am, I don't feel safe with people passing me."

"Well, sir, now nobody can get to the frozen chicken."

Congratulations. You've solved your personal anxiety by creating a public inconvenience.

And if everybody else adopted this strategy, the Twin Bridges would become the world's longest parking lot, with thousands of people sitting there wondering why their GPS keeps saying they're only three minutes away.

🏁 THEORY NUMBER TWO: THE UNOFFICIAL NASCAR PACE CAR

Another explanation we've heard is that some drivers are trying to slow everybody down to 35 miles per hour.

Now, we appreciate a concerned citizen who wants people to slow down. Seriously. If the posted speed limit is 35, obeying it is a pretty good idea.

But since when did the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet start issuing volunteer pace-car licenses at the grocery store?

Imagine the conversation at home.

"Honey, where are you going?"

"I'm headed across the bridge."

"Why are you taking two lanes?"

"Public safety."

"Are you a police officer?"

"No."

"KYTC employee?"

"No."

"Have they appointed you the official Twin Bridges traffic supervisor?"

"No, but somebody's gotta do it!"

Somewhere, a NASCAR official is watching traffic cameras and wondering how a man in a minivan managed to get promoted to race control without ever entering a racetrack.

We can picture it now.

"Drivers, start your engines!"

Except nobody can start moving because a Buick Enclave is doing 34 miles per hour across both lanes, and its driver has decided that passing is now a privilege requiring written permission.

Breaking news: Henderson resident appointed unofficial sheriff of the left lane. Badge pending. Common sense under investigation.

🤔 THEORY NUMBER THREE: THEY JUST DON'T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE

And then there's the theory that some people simply don't know how to operate a motor vehicle properly.

Now, we're not saying that's the answer. We don't know what's going through every driver's head, and we aren't about to diagnose an entire population based on somebody's questionable lane positioning.

But we have questions.

Did the driver's education instructor explain that the painted lines aren't decorative?

Did somebody tell them that two lanes mean two lanes?

Was there a mix-up at the dealership, and did they accidentally purchase a vehicle with a 16-foot-wide invisible force field?

Maybe the GPS says, "In 500 feet, stay in your lane," and the driver interprets that as, "In 500 feet, become the lane."

We don't know.

What we do know is that if you're driving a regular passenger vehicle, you generally don't need to occupy two travel lanes to get across a bridge.

And if you feel so uncomfortable that you cannot safely maintain your lane, pulling over somewhere safe when possible and reassessing the situation beats turning the bridge into a one-car parade.

🌉 THE TWIN BRIDGES ARE NOT YOUR PERSONAL DRIVEWAY

Let's be fair. People have legitimate concerns about the Twin Bridges. The infrastructure has been around for decades, traffic can be intimidating, and the current bridge work and lane arrangements have made an already frustrating commute even more interesting.

Drivers should follow posted signs, observe the speed limit, maintain a safe following distance, and pay attention to traffic conditions.

But there's a difference between driving cautiously and appointing yourself the director of interstate traffic control.

You don't get to invent your own traffic laws because you're uncomfortable.

You don't get to decide that everybody behind you must travel at your preferred speed.

And you certainly don't get to turn two lanes into one because you woke up feeling like the bridge needed a volunteer security guard.

If you're genuinely concerned about another vehicle traveling beside you, the answer isn't automatically to block that vehicle from passing. That's a decision that can create a different hazard, particularly when traffic is moving and drivers behind you have limited room to react.

Ironically, the attempt to make things safer for one driver could make the situation less predictable for everybody else.

🚨 HENDERSON LIVE HAS ONE VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION

If you're one of the drivers taking up both lanes on the Twin Bridges, we would genuinely like to hear your explanation.

Are you doing it because you feel unsafe with another car beside you?

Are you trying to slow traffic to 35 miles per hour?

Did your driving instructor graduate from the Richard Petty School of Defensive Driving and leave out the part about staying between the lines?

Or did you simply look at those two perfectly good lanes and think, "Well, I reckon both of them belong to me today"?

We're asking because we'd like to understand what's happening, not because we think every driver doing this has the same motivation.

But one thing is certain: the Twin Bridges do not need another source of confusion. We need predictable driving, sensible speeds, safe lane use, and officials addressing legitimate safety concerns.

We don't need a fleet of self-appointed pace cars, bridge bodyguards, and NASCAR wannabes conducting a rolling blockade every morning.

Henderson LIVE verdict: If you're scared of someone driving beside you, we understand being cautious. But if your solution is to make sure nobody CAN drive beside you, congratulations. You've gone from defensive driving to defensive architecture.

You're not crossing the Twin Bridges anymore.

You're hosting a one-car parade with a backup choir.

And somewhere behind you, 47 people are late for work, a truck driver is questioning every decision that led him to this moment, and a woman in a minivan is Googling whether she can legally throw a biscuit at somebody through a closed window.

NOW WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU, HENDERSON AND EVANSVILLE!

Have you seen drivers deliberately straddling both lanes on the Twin Bridges? What do you think is behind it? And if you've done it yourself, tell us why. We can take a joke, and we'd rather hear your explanation than guess.

Just remember: the bridge is for getting across the river, not auditioning for the Daytona 500.

Henderson LIVE: We report the traffic, we question the questionable, and occasionally we wonder whether somebody needs to take a deep breath and retake driver's education. 😂🏁

🚨 HENDERSON LIVE HAS SOMETHING TO SAY: FREE SPEECH ISN’T A FAVOR SOMEBODY GRANTS YOU!

Henderson, Ky. — Let’s have a little conversation about the First Amendment, the freedom of the press, and what happens when people discover that not everybody is going to agree with them.

Henderson LIVE was not created to make everybody comfortable. It was created to give people a place to talk, ask questions, share information, challenge decisions, and discuss what is happening in our community.

And yes, that includes the uncomfortable stories.

🇺🇸 WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO OUR OPINIONS.

The First Amendment protects a broad range of speech, including opinions, criticism, satire, and public discussion of government officials and public policy. We can question city leaders. (City, County or Nonprofit Organizations) We can scrutinize public decisions (especially when tax dollars are being spent). We can ask questions when something does not appear right (especially when it involves integrity or ethics concerns). We can demand transparency when taxpayer money is involved. (Especially if it involve retaliation)

Government officials or Americans do not get a constitutional exemption from criticism simply because somebody dislikes what is being said about them.

And no, criticizing a public official or person is not automatically harassment or something else, just because the criticism hits a nerve. We can say we don’t agree with someone and something and shouldn’t have to deal with personal retaliation.

📰 WHAT ABOUT THE FREEDOM OF THE PRESS?

Federal law provides important protections for journalists and news gathering. The First Amendment protects freedom of the press, and federal law includes protections against certain attempts to search for or seize journalists’ work product.

But let’s be clear: those protections are not a magic shield. Journalists, publishers, and community news pages still have legal responsibilities.

At Henderson LIVE, we believe the public deserves access to information, the ability to ask questions, and a place where important community issues can be discussed openly.

📸 WHAT ABOUT PUBLIC MUGSHOTS AND ARREST STORIES?

When an arrest becomes public information, discussing it can be a legitimate part of reporting and public conversation. Sharing a publicly released booking photograph does not automatically make a publication liable simply because somebody is embarrassed or upset.

That is why we include a reminder with arrest-related posts:

AN ARREST IS NOT A CONVICTION. EVERY PERSON IS PRESUMED INNOCENT UNLESS AND UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN A COURT OF LAW.

We are not a court. We do not hand down verdicts. We share information and encourage people to understand the difference between an allegation, an arrest, a charge, and a conviction.

⚖️ NOW, HERE IS WHERE THE CONVERSATION GETS INTERESTING.

You are allowed to disagree with us.

You are allowed to criticize us.

You are allowed to challenge our reporting, correct our mistakes, present evidence, and tell us when you think we got something wrong.

No one gets a special exemption from the law because they are angry about something published online.

And neither does Henderson LIVE.

We believe the same rules should apply to everybody. If we make a mistake, we should be willing to correct it.

Accountability is important.

🔥 HERE IS OUR MESSAGE TO HENDERSON AND THE TRI-STATE:

We are going to continue discussing community issues. We are going to continue asking questions. We are going to continue challenging decisions when we believe the public deserves answers. We are going to continue sharing opinions, covering controversial subjects, and encouraging conversations that people might not have anywhere else.

We will not pretend every story is comfortable. We will not pretend every public decision is beyond criticism. And we will not pretend that disagreement is the same thing as wrongdoing.

If you disagree with an opinion, tell us why.

If you have facts that change a story, bring them forward.

If we get something wrong, show us the evidence.

But if reading our opinions makes your blood pressure climb high enough to register on a Kentucky weather radar, there is a remarkably simple solution.

DELETE. BLOCK. SCROLL ON. GO ENJOY YOUR DAY.

You do not have to follow Henderson LIVE. You do not have to agree with us. You do not even have to like us.

But the freedom to speak, criticize, question authority, and debate controversial issues is a fundamental part of the constitutional system we all share.

And that freedom belongs to more than just the people who agree with you.

🇺🇸 HENDERSON LIVE

Community conversation. Public accountability. Free speech. And a reminder that disagreement is not a crime.

Disclaimer: This post expresses general views about freedom of speech and the press. Legal protections depend on the specific facts and applicable law. Nothing in this post should be understood as a claim that every publication is protected from liability or that every dispute involving online speech constitutes unlawful harassment.
