Celebrating Nearly 40 Years at the Iroquois Steeplechase
Since 1986, Brantley has proudly provided audio support for the legendary Iroquois Steeplechase. Next year marks 40 years since we debuted our custom crane-mounted sound system—originally designed by Lee Brantley himself, a true pioneer in live event audio.

From securing bass bins by hand in the early days to evolving speaker arrays for precise sound coverage, our team has been dedicated to ensuring every racegoer hears the excitement loud and clear.

Honored to be part of this iconic event’s history—and future.

🎉 What an incredible day at the Iroquois Steeplechase on May 11, 2024! 🐎
✨ Brantley Sound was honored to provide sound services for this prestigious event held at Percy Warner Park.
Since 1981, the Iroquois Steeplechase has supported Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, raising over $11 million through the dedicated efforts of the Volunteer State Horsemen’s Foundation. It’s heartwarming to see how this event not only brings thrilling horse racing to Nashville but also makes a significant impact on children’s lives.
A big shoutout to EES Agency for their impeccable event management, Herc Rentals for generators & power management, & Hampton Crane Service, Inc. for the magnificent crane. Together, we created a memorable experience for all attendees.

🌸✨ Reflecting on the Cherry Blossom Festival 2024! 🌸✨

On April 13, 2024, Public Square Park in Nashville transformed into a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture, thanks to the Japan-America Society of Tennessee, Inc.. The day was filled with cultural performances, delicious food, and the breathtaking beauty of cherry blossoms.

We were honored to support this wonderful event and be a part of the Nashville community. Our team at Brantley always enjoys working at the Cherry Blossom Festival and immersing ourselves in the rich cultural experiences it offers.

🎤✨ Reflecting on a remarkable event at the 50th Annual Tennessee Prayer Breakfast! 🙏

At Brantley Sound, we were honored to provide Venue Sound Support & Monitors for this deeply meaningful occasion where leaders from across Tennessee gathered in unity. Held at Allen Arena, Lipscomb University, the atmosphere was charged with reverence and hope.

✨ Notable moments included Lamar Alexander's stirring rendition of Amazing Grace on the piano, and Stephen Curtis Chapman's heartfelt performance of 'You Have Shown Us'. Special guest Walker Zimmerman, Captain of Nashville Soccer Club & Member of the US Men’s National Team, brought his unique perspective to the table, sparking conversations that resonated with all present.

🎶 The Choir Room's performance filled the space with angelic voices, lifting spirits and fostering a sense of community.

Our gratitude extends to the Citizens Committee for entrusting us with their sound needs. Special thanks go to Entertainment & Technical Services managed by Jamie Shankland who provided the FOH Mix by Dave Shirley, Lights, Staging, Scenic, and Video Services ().

🚛 Warehouse Move Update! ✨

Our incredible team has been hustling non-stop to make our warehouse transition a success, and we’re almost there! 🚚 Here’s the scoop:
1. Shelving Units: ✅ Done! Our new shelving units are up and ready to house all our top-notch equipment.
2. Woodshop: 🛠️ Almost there! Construction of our brand-new woodshop is in its final stages, giving us even more capabilities to serve you better.
3. Gear Transfer: 🎤 We’ve safely moved almost all our gear, including our beloved staging decks, to our new space.
4. Offices and Lobby: We are in the process of furnishing, designing, organizing, and painting our offices and lobby for a fresh new look this summer!

It’s been a journey of hard work, decluttering, and organization, but we’re thrilled with the progress! Stay tuned for more updates as we settle into our new digs!

Joining us with no prior knowledge, Josh quickly excelled, showcasing not only a strong work ethic but also great ideas that have positively impacted our operations.

Peel back the layers, and you'll discover Josh is not just a hard worker but a highly intelligent individual. Known for his productivity, healthy lifestyle, and keen interest in history and current events, Josh is a well-read conversationalist, always ready to share fascinating facts and opinions.

🚀 Role as Staging Lead:
Josh operates our SL100 and SL260 Hydraulic Stages with precision and safety. His responsibility and confidence in managing these vital components make him an indispensable part of our team. No challenge is too big for Josh – he forges ahead like Gen Patton, claiming he can "build a pyramid with just this crew."

🏗️ Outstanding Achievement:
This month, we honor Josh for spearheading our warehouse move – a transition from 30,000 sq ft to 17,000 sq ft. His leadership, work ethic, and creative input were crucial in building a massive 2-tier shelving unit and flooring the top tier (50’ x 54’). Josh's contribution has been nothing short of exceptional, proving he's not just an employee but a true force of nature!

🌟🏢 Kicking off the year at the Sherwin Williams Marketing & Team Building Event! What a day filled with excitement and camaraderie at Nissan Stadium West Club Level. Proudly supporting the , our primary client for this fantastic affair.

A huge shoutout to Steve Ward of Echelon Front, a true leader with 28 years of service, 11 deployments, and an EF leadership instructor. His insights ignited motivation and set the tone for an empowering day!

💡 Our team at Brantley pulled out all the stops, providing Sound, Lighting, Graphics, Video Image, Projection, and Scenic elements to create a visually stunning experience. Special thanks to Eric Cornell of Cornell Media Group for his outstanding support.

🎥 The event pushed boundaries with a maxed-out seating capacity of 640 people, creating a unique challenge. With no floor space and a 240’ x 27’ window, our team orchestrated a seamless production, flying all elements from sound to lights, projection, and cameras.

🙌 Grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a dynamic event. Here's to more vibrant collaborations in 2024! 🚀🎉
