FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SpeakUpSis, LLC Announces Conclusion of Public Programs and Brand Restructure

SpeakUpSis, LLC is announcing an organizational restructure and the official conclusion of several public facing programs that have operated under the SpeakUpSis®️ brand over the past seven years.
Effective immediately, operations for the following initiatives have formally ended:
✨ SpeakUpSis Magazine
✨ SpeakUpSis Bookshelf
✨ SpeakUpSis Podcast
✨ SpeakUpSis Awards
✨ and all related program activities

SpeakUpSis websites will also enter a period of redesign and system organization. Public program pages and brand extensions connected to these initiatives will no longer operate as active platforms.

SpeakUpSis, LLC remains an active company. The organization is entering a new phase of development and internal restructuring to better align with its future direction and core mission.

The SpeakUpSis Empowerment Center will remain open and will now function as the official SpeakUpSis Headquarters, serving as the primary location for trainings, workshops, meetings, and select community gatherings. The center will operate as the physical home base for SpeakUpSis, LLC moving forward.

Founder Angel C. Wright extends sincere gratitude to every reader, supporter, contributor, guest, partner, and community member who has supported these programs through the years. Your trust and belief in the SpeakUpSis name have helped build a strong and meaningful legacy of impact.
Further updates regarding the evolution of the brand will be provided as internal restructuring continues.

All ten author spaces for our very first Bookish Market have officially been filled. These authors are ready to show up with books in hand, stories to share, and hearts full of community.

On November 29th, you’ll be able to meet them, support their work, and pick up something new to read. We’ll also have spoken word throughout the day, so if you love poetry, come enjoy the readings. Some of our children’s book authors will be reading their stories aloud, and the children’s reading hour will begin at 12 noon.

We will also have a book swapping station. Adults can bring up to two books to swap, and children can bring one. It’s a simple way to refresh your bookshelf and introduce your kids to the joy of sharing stories.

This is only the beginning. Our next Bookish Market will be Saturday, December 20th, and a sign up link will be available soon on the SpeakUpSisEmpowermentCenterwebsite. In the new year, we’re looking at doing this twice a month, so stay connected.

Come out on Saturday, November 29th at 11:30am - 2:30pm, meet the authors, bring the kids, and step into a space that celebrates the written and spoken word. We can’t wait to see you. Please share and invite others to join us.

Join us for our first-ever Bookish Market, a community event centered around the love of reading, writing, and storytelling!

🍴 Food & Good Vibes — because good stories deserve good company

✨ Free and open to the public! Come out, support local authors, and help us build a stronger reading culture one story at a time.
