Coffee in one hand, TBR in the other… and the Monday struggle of figuring out what to read next 📖☕ Do I keep the momentum going with Glow of the Ever Flame? Or do I grab something lighter and just let it carry me through the week? ✨

To make it harder, one of my friends picked up a book I’ve been pushing on them forever, and now I’m tempted to reread 👀 Or maybe I’ll track down Prison of Sleep (book two in the series) at the library to stay loyal to my book buying ban. And since I asked for lighthearted recs in my story poll yesterday, I’ve also got a handful of fun options waiting for me… the possibilities are endless!

Back after a little posting pause ✨ life lately has been full

book event + bookstore trip with a friend, meeting the sweetest author (and picking up Dance of Lies… the cover is absolutely gorgeous and I can’t wait to read it), and soaking up all this perfect weather.

I’ve been reading, writing, and just living a little slower, but I’m ready to pick things back up here again 💕 Here’s a little photo dump of the good stuff lately 🌿📚

August so far 💛 Just a little over a week in and it’s already been so full—full of life, full of love, full of quality time. And the best part? It’s only going to keep going.

My TBR has grown (shocker), I’ve got a few books in progress, and today is a book event day with a friend (more pics coming soon ✨). The weather has been serving peak Augtober vibes and I’m absolutely here for it.

Today’s rainy weather brought the best kind of energy—cozy, calm, and unexpectedly productive. I finally feel that mood shift I’ve been waiting for, and a change of scenery at one of my favorite coffee shops never fails to help.

It’s Tuesday and unfortunately… I’m still deep in my reading slump 😭 Sounds Like Love has officially been added to the Stack of Shame™ (aka my soft DNF pile, don’t worry, I will come back for her. I’m just a mood reader with commitment issues).

That said… today marks the start of my tandem read of Empire of Storms and Tower of Dawn 📚⚔️ I’ve heard this journey is WILD so wish me luck because I’m emotionally unprepared but diving in anyway.

Such a good girls’ day with today 💕 We ate the yummiest food, explored a new-to-me bookstore and somehow left with a FREE book 👀, and spent the whole day talking and laughing. My heart is so full
