Finish Slewfoot ❌

Start a new ARC ✅

The Everlasting by Alice E Harrow comes out next week and I’m lucky enough to read it early thanks to and 📚

So I am starting this dark, fantastical time-bending story about a knight whose legend built a nation, and the historian who falls through time to change her fate 🗡️📜✨

Knight and the Moth review and a moment for the tote bag 💕

5 stars, duh, obviously… maybe even 6 stars but WHY STOP THERE. Anyway you get the point, I love this book.

The Knight and the Moth completely wrecked me in the most beautiful way. This book was everything I love about Rachel Gillig’s writing. Haunting, emotional, and filled with that eerie kind of magic that lingers long after you finish. She’s officially an auto-buy author for me. And I am obsessed with this read.

The story felt both political and deeply personal, blending power, grief, and devotion in a way that made every scene feel heavy with meaning. The writing was gorgeous and the atmosphere somehow both delicate and dark.

And then there’s Bartholomew. I don’t even have words. The ending had me staring at the page, completely stunned and questioning everything. It was beautiful and brutal and perfect all at once.

The Knight and the Moth is pure magic. It broke my heart, stitched it back together, and made me fall in love with Gillig’s world all over again.

Pumpkin patch read, pumpkin patch outfit, and all the fall feelings 💕🍂

Immersing myself into fall with books, outfits, and activities! What’s your favorite thing about fall?

I finally took a little time to re-organize my bedside table and turn it into a mini TBR shelf — and it’s honestly brought me so much joy. 🍂📚
It’s my new favorite part of my bedroom.
Now it’s got the perfect October energy, and every time I walk into my room it just feels… right. It really is the little things that make life better.

✨ Help me pick my next read! ✨

Both of these are perfect for October dark, magical, and just the right amount of eerie 🍂📖

🧚‍♀️ Fairydale:
A whimsical yet sinister, where fairytales twist into something hauntingly beautiful. I’m obsessed with this new cover and all its tiny details.

🐐 Slewfoot:
A witchy New England tale filled with folklore, fear, and a slow, creeping sense of power. The artwork in this edition is unreal.

So what do you think, fae mischief or witchy vengeance? 👀

“There were tales that only the island knew. Ones that had never been told. I knew, because I was one of them.” ✨

I’ve been spending my mornings tucked into Spells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young, and it’s such a perfect fall read. It feels like fog and folklore and something quietly haunting in the best way.

Happy Monday, friends 🤍 what’s everyone reading this week?

october so far 🍂

I started October out with a little trip out of state, and on the way trying new coffee, and there were books in the café!!!!

I’ve been deep in adrienne young’s world lately this ARC for fallen city has completely pulled me in, and I don’t think i’ve ever highlighted so many lines in anything before. And now i’m reading spells for forgetting for a local book club and it’s just the perfect fall vibe.

And of course i’ve been spending more time at the library again lately and it’s reminded me how special it is. happy sunday, friends 📚
