📸 This is Our Custom – Sharing the Mumu Pig 🐖

This image speaks of our roots. In the time of our ancestors, sharing mumu pig during ceremonies like moka, compensation, or house cry was more than a meal—it was a statement of respect, unity, and identity.

The pig was carried to the singing ground, laid down, measured, and distributed with honor.

Today, many have walked away from these sacred ways. We've traded deep custom for fast, modern living. We’ve become like aluminum type na without weight. But some still carry the legacy.

Let’s not forget where we come from.

FAKE NEWS: Big Lee's Facebook Account Was Not Shut Down by NICTA

Claims that NICTA took down Big Lee’s page are completely false. The truth is, Big Lee deactivated his own account after receiving overwhelming negative feedback—over 90% of the comments on his video were critical. Rather than taking responsibility, he chose to blame the Marape Government, which is a childish and misleading tactic.

This is just another politically motivated stunt aimed at gaining sympathy from the opposition and stirring up controversy. It’s a typical move in PNG politics—using misinformation to manipulate public opinion.

Let’s call this what it is: fake news and propaganda, not fact.

Prime Minister Hon. James Marape has made a passionate call to the international community to take urgent and decisive action to protect the world’s forests and oceans, describing them as the "lungs and lifeline of our planet."

Speaking during his keynote address at the 42nd Meeting of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Board held in Port Moresby, Prime Minister Marape underscored the critical role of natural ecosystems in sustaining life, regulating the climate, and supporting biodiversity.

“Our forests and oceans are not just national assets – they are global treasures. They are the lungs and lifeline of our planet,” Prime Minister Marape said. “Papua New Guinea stands ready to work with international partners to ensure their protection, but we need urgent, meaningful, and sustained global cooperation.”

Kurt Caz who has 1.8M followers on Facebook and 3.34M subscribers on YouTube.

He visited PNG in September 2023 and at some point went off-grid when he was in rural Hela in the midst of tribal conflict.
His content was seriously focused on the real experiences of how diverse we are and breaking the stereotypes from the bad press we have.

Yet he didn't get the attention of the Prime Minister.

That African girl was popular because all the men from all provinces on fb are sexually objectify her.
All of a sudden male politicians think she's the icon for Tourism but what about Kurt?
So I guess the focus is on SUSUrism and not Tourism.

PNG yah breeding ground of pervs and bagarap mahn.

A small girl after separation of her Father and Mother.
It was on a sunny morning, when the sun was shining so bright I was on my way to somewhere I was planning to go.I was walking through a small track leading to the main road.It was a two 2 kilometers walk to reach the main and I was already halfway on my walk and I came across a small girl sitting in the grass which made me scared. As I was about to say hii she already got up and say hello to me ,then I say hii and she got up and asked me where I was going. I said I was going to a place which she couldn't know.Sh even asked my name and I said I'm this and that. After a few while I asked her name and she said she is Anita. And later I found out that her parents were separate and the mother left and the has others wives plus siblings to look after. Then I asked her what she was doing and she said she was looking for food. From there tears were running down my eyes when looking at the small girl with her appearance. I thought if she was close to me or my place I would take her as my own siblings but some kilometers away and same time I was on a way to go somewhere.
Below is the pictures of the small girl.

Let us continue to serve without ceasing.

Pangu Pati has responded to social media commentator Big Lee's complaint about not meeting our Honourable Prime Minister, James Marape.

National General-Secretary, Dogimai Morris Tovebae said Big Lee should learn from Kenyan content creator Diana Daisy Gau, who has been promoting Papua New Guinea in a positive way.

Daisy Gau was recently invited by PM Marape after posting many good stories about PNG during her four-week stay. Read related story: https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1LvJdAswTb/

Mr Tovebae said the Prime Minister simply offered coffee as a kind gesture to someone helping to share good news about the country.

They compared this to Big Lee, who has lived in PNG for many years but often posts negative comments online.

The party reminded the public that the Prime Minister can choose who he meets and will not waste time with people who harm the country’s image.

He urged Big Lee to reflect on Daisy Gau’s appreciation of PNG’s culture and people.

Daisy Gau also visited the Pangu Pati office and shared her love for PNG and its people during a warm and friendly meeting.

He said Pangu Pati hopes local influencers will learn to promote PNG in a positive way, just like Daisy Gau.

Every good man built US$31 billion PNG Economy over 50 years and grew population of just over 1 million to roughly 13 million in 50 years too.

Let's consider these facts too when we listen to our Veteran Politician, Public Servant and Statesman.

It is a clear indication that US$31 billion economy isn't enough to sustain 13 million population.

Instead of just listening, we must reason out things properly.

Government's intent to maximizing returns into the economy for every investment and driving investments to support economic growth is the only way forward.

PNG is a young country underdeveloped and full of resources.

Though I fully respect our Senior Statesman, advises like this is needed from him with all is mind full of wisdom.

This is the real live example, Australia has 26 million population with roughly US$ 2 trillion Economy.

PNG is US31 billion Economy with 13 million population. Our population is half of Australian population our economy is just tiny 1.5% of Australian Economy.

Instead of cherry picking issues for political and personal convenience, every veterans should be advising government to grow our economy.

Why don't we have jobs? It is through expansion of Economy that will give jobs.

Let's not some good logics to fail with personal perceptions from another good man who lived longer than us.

Finally, I salute every effort you put to bring up this country to where we are but allow some space for younger leaders to think.

🕊️ From the Father’s Legacy to the Son’s Leadership – Pogera Paiala, Rise Up! 🗳️

A great tree may fall, but its roots remain strong — and from those roots, new life grows. The late father of Gidron Maso Karipe (Box 25) was not just a man — he was a true leader, a servant of the people, and a father who planted seeds of wisdom, courage, and service. Though he has passed, his vision lives on — and now, it rises in his son.

Gidron Maso Karipe is not standing for power, but for purpose. He is standing not in his own strength alone, but in the foundation laid by his father and carried now in his heart. The same heart that beats for Pogera Paiala. The same heart that wants to finish what was started.

Our land needs more than just a leader — it needs a son of the soil, raised with values, guided by the past, and committed to the future. That is what we see in Box 25 – GMK.

✅ Young, but wise.
✅ Brave, but humble.
✅ Focused, but for the people.
✅ His dream is not just to win — but to serve, unite, and uplift every corner of Pogera Paiala.

He carries the name. He carries the fire. And now, he calls on you, the people, to walk with him. Let us not forget where we came from — and let us not miss where we are going.

📢 This is our moment. Let’s complete the journey. Let’s finish the work his father began.
📦 Vote Gidron Maso Karipe – Box 25 – for real change, for real leadership, and for a future we can be proud of.
