We are on scene of a very active duplex fire on Kingwood Street near 22nd Place. It has gone to 2 alarms. Crews are battling against a broken gas line that is on fire at this time. We will have more info as it becomes available.

Clean Water Services reports sewage overflows in Hillsboro near East Main Street and NE 18th Avenue on Turner Creek, on Vermont Court west of Oleson Road, SW 89th Avenue and Spruce Street in Tigard, and near the intersection of SW Hall Boulevard and Millikan Way. They write: "The public should avoid contact with rivers and streams and all flood water because the water may be contaminated with pollution and bacteria."

'The Nutcracker' production of Forest Grove Dance Arts is this this weekend. A good reason to head a bit west for Christmas cheer!

Ballet Forest Grove's annual production of "The Nutcracker" ballet is coming up Saturday, Dec. 5 and 6. Usually performances are held the second weekend of December, but due to scheduling issues with the Forest Grove High School auditorium, it's being held the first weekend.
