Happy Mario Day (Mar 10)! 🍄🕹️ Who knew saving Princess Peach could be so STEM-y? 👸

🎮Playing video games with my kiddos isn't just fun, it's a sneaky way to boost their problem-solving 🧩, strategy🏗️, and spatial reasoning skills! 📏 Level up your brain while you level up your character! 💪💢

Feeling grateful for the extra daylight here in the US!☀️

This phenomenon is due to the tilt 📐of the Earth's axis and its orbit around the sun. 🌎💫 As we move closer to summer, the Northern Hemisphere tilts towards the sun, causing sun rays to strike Earth at a more direct angle. This makes daylight hours longer 🌇 and shorter nighttime 🌃. So we get to enjoy more sunshine after school and on weekends, which is perfect for outdoor activities🚴‍♀️🤸‍♀️ and soaking up some vitamin D 😎.

Here's to longer days and brighter evenings! Let's make the most of this extra daylight and enjoy the beauty of the changing seasons.

🥳The first Pi Day (π) started 37 years ago at a science museum by a physicist 🤓 on March 14th (3/14)- first three digits of pi.

The celebration involved walking in circles ⭕ and eating pie (get it, "pi" & "pie?!"). A fun way to celebrate the mathematical constant π (pi) and now, it's a global celebration of math🎉🧮!

Alright, so why should you care about pi (π)!?

Pi (π) is everywhere 🌐!

Math: Circles, spheres, trigonometry, calculus – pi's key.📐

Science: Waves, pendulums, electromagnetism, structures all use pi.🧲

Tech: Signals, probability, even cryptography use pi.💻

Space: Planets, cosmic background, relativity – pi helps us understand the universe.🌠

Life: Clocks, navigation, and building things rely on pi.🧭

Basically, if it's round🥏, wavy〰️, or repeating🔁, pi's involved!

📢 It’s Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day! 🚀🔬🧪

Did you know that exposure to STEM careers early in life can open doors to endless opportunities? 👧🌎✨ When girls see female role models, explore hands-on STEM activities, and connect STEM learning to real-world careers, they’re more likely to envision themselves in these fields! 👩‍🔬💡🚺

Let’s break barriers ⛓️‍💥and build futures 🛠️—one girl, one experiment, and one spark of curiosity at a time! 🔥👧⚙️

💬 Drop a 🚀 in the comments if you support girls in STEM!

On this International Day of Women and Girls in Science, we honor the achievements and contributions of women in STEM fields. Let's continue to inspire and support the next generation of female scientists, engineers, and innovators.

These statistics underscore the progress made and the challenges that remain in achieving gender equality in STEM. By highlighting these facts, we can raise awareness and encourage more women and girls to pursue and thrive in STEM careers.

👩‍🔬💡 Holding hands today, changing the world tomorrow! 🌍🔬 As we pass down curiosity and knowledge, we’re reminded of Louis Pasteur’s words.

Tomorrow is International Women and Girls in STEM Day—a day to celebrate the trailblazers, mentors, and future innovators who are shaping the world through science, technology, engineering, and math! 🚀💻👩‍🔬 Let’s keep the torch burning bright! 🔥

🔬💡 STEM: It’s ELEMENTary! 💡🔬

Happy National Periodic Table Day—the one day a year where we unapologetically geek out over our favorite collection of 118 squares! 🎉🧪

Why today? 🤔 Because on February 7, 1863, chemist John Newlands published one of the earliest versions of the periodic table! Sure, Dmitri Mendeleev usually gets all the credit for his 1869 version (and that glorious beard 🧔), but Newlands was onto something first!

The periodic table is like the ultimate LEGO set of the universe—every element is a building block for something amazing. And today, I’m using it to spell out something close to my heart: STEM! (Sulfur, Titanium, Einsteinium, and Magnesium for my fellow element enthusiasts! 😉)

Fun fact:
🔹 Mendeleev literally left blank spaces in his periodic table because he predicted elements that hadn’t been discovered yet! He even nailed their properties before scientists found them. Talk about thinking ahead! 🔮

💜 POV: When you say 'I'm going to make a Valentine's Day wreath' and then spend hours sorting through Lego bricks. ⏳ 😅 But hey, the result is pretty sweet, right?

Plus, all that building = serious STEM skills in action! 💪 This Lego heart wreath was a great exercise in creativity, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning. ⚙️👩‍🔧 It also looks pretty cute, right? 😉 Happy Valentine's Day! ❤️
