There's been a Santa takeover here at the station! From now until early January, Radio Free Hillsdale 101.7 FM is your Christmas and holiday soundtrack, only pausing twice an hour for SRN News. You'll hear greetings from our student broadcasters and many also will provide introductions for their favorite tracks or beloved Christmas movies. Again this year, you'll hear "Christmas Around the World," as Mattie Grace Watson tells us about celebrations outside the United States. Plus special editions of "What's In a Name?" and other features. Stay tuned -- we try to play holiday favorites along with songs you might not hear anywhere else.

A winter storm warning is in effect for northern Indiana, southwest lower MI, and much of NW Ohio (Allen Co, OH is Advisory). Highest snow totals will be 8-14” in the northwest, and lesser amounts of 4-9” south of US 24 (greater uncertainty as snow mixes with rain at times early Sun). Widespread system snow is expected Sat-early Sun, then we transition to lake effect snow for northwest wind snow belts (included on map). Travel will be dangerous with snow covered roads (falling, blowing, drifting snow), and low visibility that may rapidly fluctuate once lake effect begins.
