Well after a 6 week trip to the mainland, we are back home in Hawaii! Here’s a few of our favs from our shoot with in Austin, TX. We are currently booking for Seattle in October, Atlanta in December, and New Orleans in January!

Science shows something fascinating about creativity and play - they’re not opposites of technical precision, they’re catalysts for it and there’s just something magical about playing with liquid movement in photography. It is a documented fact that neurodivergent brains process movement and patterns in unique ways - but the real magic happens when we let go of ‘perfect’ and just... play.

It started with simple water drops. Then splashes. Then entire liquid choreographies. Each time we experimented without judgment, I discovered new ways to capture motion.

The secret isn’t just in the settings, it’s about finding rhythm in random splashes, letting water tell its own story, and playing until patterns emerge

Your technical knowledge sets the foundation, but it’s that childlike curiosity that creates the unexpected. Those moments when you forget about ‘getting it right’ and just get lost in the dance of light and liquid.

The technical stuff matters, but it's our unique way of seeing that creates unforgettable images. Not only that but science proves it - there's power in seeing things differently.

Recent neuroscience research shows something fascinating: neurodivergent brains are wired to process visual information in distinct ways. Those subtle patterns, those quiet spaces between moments - they tell stories that others might miss.

It's not just about camera settings or perfect lighting. It's about:
