Michael Colucci was released today and his trial was cancelled due to an apparent prosecutorial error.

Let’s be real: Alan Wilson’s office NEVER prioritized this case like they should have. They owe it to Sara Lynn Colucci and her daughter and THE PUBLIC to indict Michael Colucci for the third time and GET IT RIGHT.

Justice Can Come. We must demand it.

BREAKING IN COLUCCI:
While the Colucci murder trial is set to begin this week, a new motion was filed by Michael Colucci's defense team on Thursday asking for the court to dismiss the murder indictment/ case for alleged goverment misconduct.

Michael Colucci's attorneys are accusing the state of withholding exculpatory Brady material about an alleged comment that Sara planned to die by su***de.

Specifically, the defense claims that there is “proof that SLED Agent David Owen knew Sara Colucci told her mother she was going to commit su***de by hanging days before her death and did everything within his power to intentionally keep that information from the defense is exactly the type of conduct so grossly shocking and outrageous as to violate the universal sense of justice.”

Beth Braden spoke to Attorney General Alan Wilson’s Office this morning and they said there will be a hearing at 2 pm on the motion where prosecutors are prepared to argue the motion.
