Review "Once Upon a Time in...Hollywood"
First of all, I have to say that for those who love action movies, racing, palace fighting, etc., do not choose this movie. This is a genre of movies that are picky about the audience, testing the patience of the viewer until the last minute. The movie was created by the talented director Quentin Tarantino, famous for the movies Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill,... with the "immortal" statement: Only make 10 movies in his career, then... retire! His storytelling is non-linear, the message is heavily satirical, the dialogue is long - a lot, the cast is a mix of famous and unknown people, plus the ability to depict violence in a very humorous and uncompromising way.
Although it has the participation of 3 A-list stars Leonardo, Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie, this is not a commercial movie, there is no drama, climax or unexpected details. The film simply tells the story of two actors Rick and Cliff in the context of Hollywood in 1969, with long lines of satirical dialogue, metaphorical situations that perhaps few audiences will understand if they learn about the context of the film.
If you are a true movie fan, sipping a cup of coffee before entering the theater, you will definitely love this film, from the cinematic color of the 1969 context, acting, to the non-linear storytelling, and then by the end of the film, you will be eager to know how this story will end.
Leonardo really has another role of his life in this film after 4 years of absence, it is completely possible to expect him to have another Oscar nomination with this role of Rick. As for Brad and Margot, their acting and reputation are enough to make the audience look forward to every scene of the two.
In short, if you are a true movie fan, a fan of director Quentin Tarantino, or a fan of Leonardo, Brad, Margot, then hurry to the cinema to see it, remember to drink a cup of coffee before going to the cinema to be alert enough to read the subtitles, the dialogue is very good. As for those who love action movies, psychological movies, and palace movies, stay home. If you buy a ticket and then go to the cinema and criticize the movie as bad, it will be a pity for the film crew.
"Once Upon a Time in...Hollywood" is showing in cinemas, fans.
