It’s never been easier to generate a social post, draft a newsletter, or spin up a polished website using AI like it is today. And many small businesses are embracing AI, automating marketing tasks, building faster sites and scaling campaigns that once required full teams.

But according to two executives shaping AI adoption for small businesses — Itai Sadan, cofounder and CEO of Duda, and Louis Gutierrez, director of AI at Constant Contact — a more complicated picture is emerging. While the excitement about AI-powered automation is real, most SMBs are not yet ready to combat the challenges that come with using AI.

Is entrepreneurship something you’re born with — or can it be taught?

In a thought-provoking preview from our upcoming ForbesBLK webinar, Dr. Silvanus J. Udoka, Dean of Clark Atlanta University’s School of Business, challenges a common assumption in business leadership: that entrepreneurship is innate and unteachable.

Join Dr. Udoka and Community Manager Ayisha Mendez on Tuesday, August 5 at 1 PM ET for a powerful conversation on how transforming your mindset can fuel meaningful career growth. knows what you think of her. The first (and so far only) Black woman to win an Academy Award for Best Actress, the former model and fixture on “most beautiful people” lists is all too familiar with being best known for her performances and her looks. But these three words, shouted on Capitol Hill in May 2024 while surrounded by a bipartisan group of senators (all women), might change that: “I’m in menopause!”

Now 58, the Oscar-winning actress is taking on her most important role yet—championing women’s health. It’s a mission of both advocacy and entrepreneurship that began when her own perimenopause was misdiagnosed as herpes.

In an industry fueled by hype, overproduction, and aesthetic perfection, 23-year-old Isan Elba is building something radically different: a scalable, tech-enabled system that turns beauty’s excess into dignity for underserved communities.

As the founder of Beauty Access and its nonprofit sister organization Beauty Forward, Elba is leading a new movement toward circular beauty, one where surplus products are redirected to women and families in need, and where brands are encouraged to rethink their relationship with waste, logistics, and community impact.

Since launching, Elba has redistributed more than 3,000 unopened beauty and hygiene products that would have otherwise been discarded. The products come from creators who have exhausted their networks, and from brands looking to align excess with purpose. Her goal is clear: to make redistribution as operationally viable and sustainable as overproduction.
