September 15, 2020

The Holdenville City Council will meet for a regularly scheduled meeting at the Holdenville Civic Center 124 North Creek St., Holdenville, OK on September 15, 2020 at 6:30 P.M.

NOTE: At this time, it is requested that anyone attending the council meeting, please wear mask and gloves. Also, please continue to practice social distancing. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

ORDER OF BUSINESS

1. Call to order.

2. Roll call and declaration of quorum.

3. Flag salute.

4. Invocation.

5. Communications.

6. Consent Agenda:

These items are placed on the Consent Agenda so that members of the City Council, by unanimous consent, can designate routine agenda items to be approved by one motion. If any item proposed on the Consent Agenda does not meet with the approval of all Council Members, that item will be removed and heard in regular order.

A. Approve the minutes of the City Council meeting on September 1, 2020.
B. Approve the minute of the City Council special meeting on September 10,2020.

7. Discussion and possible action on any item removed from the Consent Agenda.

8. Committee Reports – Discussion of AT&T billing issue and OG&E. Update on COVID 19.

9. Discussion and possible action on MOU between Hughes County & the City of Holdenville for Hughes County to oil and chip South Echo St. from Covey Rd. to the edge of the City limits.

10. Discussion and possible action on Inter-local cooperative agreement with Hughes County for part-time use of Emergency Management Director.

11. Executive Session pursuant to 25 O.S. 307(B)(4): Confidential communications between a public body and its attorney concerning a pending investigation, claim, or action if the public body, with the advice of its attorney, determines that disclosure will seriously impair the ability of the public body to process the claim or conduct a pending investigation, litigation, or proceeding in the public interest"

The Holdenville City Clerks Office will be closed until Monday September 14th due to the employees being exposed to COVID-19. Due to the flooding that occurred in the Lower Elementary Building the students in Pre-K thru 3rd grade will be having a virtual day Tuesday September 8 th.

Wednesday September 9 th our lower elementary students will return to school.

Grades Pre K - 3rd will be meeting in alternate room locations on our campus.

It is a great day to be a Pirate!
