Day 5: Day two of school day, five in Palermo. School is from 8:30 to 12:30 today and it was really hard again. The teacher asked me and two other students if we would like to drop to a lower class I think there are several classes below us and one above us. We all indicated our wish to stay and are staying in this class so far it is well above in many ways but also right on in others since I study so hard on my own, I really prefer to learn all of the verbs and memorize words on my own and the classes for extra talking, etc. I have been working and it’s almost 9 o’clock so a long day of school and just studying at home besides walking to buy a notebook to write all of the verbs and words in. I had already done all of this in the states, but I didn’t bring it on purpose because I didn’t want to carry heavy things and I wish I brought a few things. My hand wishes. I brought a few things because it still hurts from the dog to write and I had to write a lot today. apologies I’m not going to translate this one today. I’m winding it down and watching NCIS in Italian. Kurt is in the process of studying for his new job. I’ll tell you more about that when he is ready. I did get almost all the way home today to three minutes from my apartment without the navigation if I didn’t stop and look in stores on the way home I probably would’ve made it without problem, but it’s very easy to get lost in the outdoor markets and wonder. No. today I went the least steps only 11,000. I’m getting a lot of steps in here tomorrow after school. I think I will walk to a little area where handmade items are made in Sucely and check it out because I really need to do other things besides just study, but I am going to Venice this weekend with Julie Horner so that’s not studying really😎
