🎄 NEW BLOG POST ALERT! 🎄When you think of the perfect holiday movie, does your mind go straight to the classics like "It’s a Wonderful Life" or "A Christmas Carol"? Or are you one of those people who insists "Die Hard" is a Christmas movie (no judgment… okay, maybe a little 😄). For me, though, the ultimate holiday movies have always been comedies—because nothing says “the holidays” like laughing your head off with the tree lit and snacks within arm’s reach.

Inspired by Tony Miros recent chat with the talented and charming Michael Nouri—who starred in the hilarious holiday favorite "Last Holiday"— we found ourselves going down a full-on Christmas movie rabbit hole. (You can catch their conversation on Episodes 149 & 150 of the Hollywood Obsessed Podcast!)

That got me thinking about all the holiday comedies we’ve been obsessed with over the years—some since childhood, others we discovered later and now can’t imagine December without. So we wrote a brand-new blog post all about the “Holiday Comedies We’re Obsessed With”—the movies that have kept us laughing season after season for decades.

COMING IN 2026! Get ready, friends—because a couple of weeks ago I had the absolute thrill of chatting with one of my early movie obsessions: Sarah Douglas! Yes, that Sarah Douglas—the unforgettable Kryptonian super-villain Ursa from the original “Superman” and “Superman II”… where she totally kicks poor Christopher Reeve’s ass! (Still one of my favorite films of all time.) And let me tell you—I had the best time talking with her!

But Ursa was only the beginning. Sarah has built an extraordinary career spanning film, TV, sci-fi, fantasy, and everything in between. She’s delivered unforgettable performances in “Conan the Destroyer” with Arnold Schwarzenegger, “Return of Swamp Thing” opposite Louis Jourdan, two seasons of “Falcon Crest,” and the sci-fi classic “V: The Final Battle.” She’s also made memorable appearances on beloved series like “Stargate SG-1,” “Babylon 5,” “Remington Steele,” “Magnum P.I.,” “Supergirl,” and so many more.

And just when a new generation thought they could resist her… Netflix proved them wrong. As the stern-but-fiercely-loyal Mrs. Averill in “A Christmas Prince,” Sarah became part of one of Netflix’s most-streamed holiday franchises. The movie spawned two sequels—“The Royal Wedding” and “The Royal Baby”—and fans are still hoping she’ll return for more royal chaos.

Beyond her incredible screen work, Sarah remains a beloved presence at fan conventions around the world, taking photos, signing autographs, sharing stories, and genuinely lighting up every room she walks into. She certainly lit up my day!

Trust me—you do NOT want to miss her two upcoming episodes on Hollywood Obsessed Podcast. They are truly out of this world!

NEW EPISODE ALERT! Episodes 149 & 150 of the Hollywood Obsessed Podcast are now streaming! This time host Tony Miros is joined by the supremely talented, charming, and iconic Michael Nouri.

Michael is the legendary leading man of the 1983 blockbuster film “Flashdance”, with unforgettable roles on hit TV series like “The O.C.”, “NCIS”, “Damages”, “The West Wing”, “Law & Order”, “The Watcher” and “Yellowstone”, plus a celebrated turn on Broadway in the musical “Victor/Victoria” with Julie Andrews.

In this lively and revealing two-part conversation, Michael takes us back to his childhood in Washington, D.C., where seeing Albert Finney on stage ignited his love for acting. With no formal training, he moved to New York, waited tables, and improbably landed a Broadway role in “Forty Carats” opposite Julie Harris—a break that launched a remarkable career, including a Daytime Emmy nomination for “Search for Tomorrow”.

From there, the stories just keep coming—behind-the-scenes memories from films like “Flashdance”, “The Hidden”, “Finding Forrester”, “Last Holiday”, and Steven Spielberg’s “The Terminal”, plus the deeply meaningful experience of sharing the Broadway stage with the incomparable Julie Andrews. It’s warm, funny, inspiring, and packed with classic Hollywood moments.

NEW BLOG POST ALERT! As a kid, nothing felt more magical than an unexpected day off from school. While some kids bundled up to play outside, I was happily planted on the couch or curled up in bed, glued to daytime TV. And not just any daytime TV… I'm talking about the golden, back-to-back hours of game shows.

When I recently sat down for a one-hour conversation with the iconic actress-turned–game show host Ruta Lee —yes, the same fabulous woman I watched rolling dice on “High Rollers” in the ’70s—those childhood memories came rushing back in full Technicolor. (Catch my interview with her in Episodes 147 & 148 of the Hollywood Obsessed podcast!)

These whip-smart, glamorous, endlessly entertaining women helped shape the joy of daytime TV. So I wrote a new blog post about the fabulous Game Show Queens who have given game shows their sparkle for decades. Click the link below and enjoy this trip down memory lane!

Future Episode Alert! As a lifelong fan of the iconic sitcom “Taxi,” getting the chance to interview one of its original cast members was a dream come true. I could not wait to dive into his memories from the set of that Emmy-winning classic!

I’m talking about the wonderful Randall Carver, whose career began with a pivotal early appearance opposite Jon Voight in “Midnight Cowboy.” After starring in “Time to Run” and landing various TV and film roles, his first steady job came when Norman Lear cast him as Jeffrey DeVito on “Forever Fernwood” (a spin off of the groundbreaking “Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman"). Then came the big moment: in 1978, Randall won the role of John Burns—the sweet, small-town dreamer—on “Taxi.” Though his character lasted just one season, he continued working steadily, including the Vietnam-era comedy “Six O'Clock Follies” and TV movies like “Detour to Terror,” where he played a villain terrorizing O.J. Simpson!

In 1991, Randall reunited with the entire “Taxi “family when the Museum of Television and Radio honored the cast. They later returned once more to recreate their roles for “Man on the Moon,” starring Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman—a full-circle moment that delighted fans everywhere. I spent an hour chatting with Randall, and his stories were warm, funny, surprising, and filled with unbelievable behind-the-scenes gems.

I can’t wait for you all to hear this upcoming two-part Hollywood Obsessed Podcast conversation. Follow the podcast now so you don’t miss this TV legend’s episode when it drops.
