✨ Incredibly honored and humbled to share that I’ve been featured by Influential Women! 💖

Being recognized alongside so many phenomenal women who are shaking up their industries and redefining success is a true "pinch-me" moment. Seeing this feature made me pause and reflect on the journey it took to get here, and it got me thinking about what I would say to the version of me who was just starting out.

If I could whisper some advice to my younger self, it would be this:

"To the girl who used to wonder if her voice would ever be loud enough to make a difference: stop doubting your magic. Keep speaking your truth, keep building with passion, and never shrink yourself to make a room feel more comfortable. Every single obstacle you're facing right now is just preparing you for a seat at tables you don't even know exist yet. Trust the process—you are more than enough."

Ever felt the exhaustion of trying to "belong" in a space that doesn’t quite feel right? We’ve all been there—trying to crack the code of a social circle, a corporate culture, or a project that feels like wearing shoes two sizes too small.

Here is the hard truth: If you have to force the door open, the room wasn't built for you.

When you prioritize proximity over alignment, you usually end up with two things you didn't ask for:

1) Permanent Discomfort:
You’ll spend all your energy "performing" instead of contributing. You can’t do your best work when you’re busy making sure you aren't standing out for the "wrong" reasons.

2) Zero ROI on Your Talent:
In rooms where you aren't welcomed, your skills aren't seen as assets—they’re seen as disruptions. You won't be valued, mentored, or heard.

"A seat at the table is worthless if the people sitting there are committed to misunderstanding you."

Instead of trying to be a "culture fit" for people who don't get you, look for culture add.

Seek out the spaces where:

1. Your voice doesn't need a volume booster.

2. Your quirks are seen as features, not bugs.

3. The energy is reciprocal, not draining.

Stop auditioning for people who aren't even your audience.

Build your own room, or keep walking until you find the one where the door is already propped open for you.

Know your worth—then add tax. 🥂
