Personal best finish in the !
Last year, I was too out of shape even to run a few miles. But I set some big goals… I committed to doing 3 races in 2024. Through daily consistent effort, starting with walking one mile day, I lost the weight, tackled all 3 races, and ended up surprising myself!
This was my second marathon in 6 weeks and was so much fun to do on my home turf and with one of my best friends/brother-in-law, and I loved that our father-in-law ran the 10k too. Congrats to all the runners!
This year to me is a reminder that you are never too far gone. Your life could look entirely different in a shorter amount of time than you think. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and we will get there together.
