I was lowkey starting to worry I wouldn’t find a mirror that fit since I made the frame before buying one 😅 But I found this one at Walmart, and it’s almost perfect! It needed to be arched, tall enough to reach the middle point inside the frame, and wide enough to attach securely. It’s also really lightweight, which is exactly what I wanted. I printed the frame with fairly low infill to keep the weight down, but once everything is put together, it still adds up!

I usually show off things that are joining my collection but these are things leaving my collection. These have either been sold or given away to better homes.

I still love that backpack design but it's just impractical to use and I never used it as you can see from the tags still being attached. And as much as I love HP Funkos, I never display them and they've been sitting boxes.

What do you guys think the new mirror of erised is going to look like in the upcoming HBO Harry Potter show? Or did they already show it? I'm trying not to watch the trailers and news aboyt it so that I can just enjoy the show when it comes out.

Well, anyway, this is the latest update on the mirror. I'm so close but still have so much to do. I could have gone taller and slightly wider but I think this is good enough for me (for now). It's almost 6.5ft.

New goal: finish this by the END of September.

Too blind to make sure the pieces are glued flush, but just enough vision for the gaps to bother me. FML.

I'm realizing I never really talk about how I'm able to make something like this while being blind. A lot of it is done by touch, a hell of a lot of lighting, and a lot of trial and error. The downside is that a lot of the materials I work with aren't exactly non-toxic either and it gets messy real quick.
