Promised Iʻd post pics of the Saddle Rd Puʻu ʻOʻo Trail and here they are. The trail, originally a 19th-century cattle-driving trail from Mauna Kea to Honolulu Harbor in Puna (!!), passes thru kipuka after kipuka, each one different and fascinating.

Some more hike pix culled from my feeble attempts at organizing my iPhone photos .. includes a glimpse into Kaʻau Crater, an unusual fungus I fortunately didnʻt trample upon, a clean view of Leʻahi from a vista off a Tantalus trail, and the distant tabletop Mt Kaʻala seen from one of the trails in back of Waiau.

Been trying to organize/preserve ukulele-many iPhone pix and vids -- well, actually, over 7000 -- and pulled these pix out of a plethora of gorgeous views from hiking trails back of Waiau. Trying to sort through them bit by bit daily, and Iʻm down to the high 5000s at this point haha ... I got reacquainted with a pile of vids I took o document natural ambiences as well as city drones, etc etc, many of which will make their way into the PMP environmental ambiences folders and into my own more weird compositions, the ones I classify as Not Commercially Viable.

Lots of gorgeous Octopus trees on the Flying Saucer Trail. Flying Saucer Trail??? From my house window thatʻs exactly what the water tank located at the trailhead looks like. Spooks me out.

Itʻs not Puʻu ʻOʻo Trail, but the mana is strong. This is a view of the super-lush yard of the B&B I stayed at with Frank while he was building walls for his Fern Acres pied-a-terre a few years ago.

Well, Iʻve been totally remiss in not posting and Iʻm gonna try making this a regular thing from now on. Where to start? This is supposed to be a PMP biz site but Iʻve never been much of a biz-man -- so until things come better into biz-focus (if ever), Iʻll be for sure posting some iPhone pics Iʻve taken during my weekly hikes in the magic places back of the populated areas of Oʻahu and neighbor islands. Iʻm also gonna try posting some new original music Iʻve been fortunate enough to have the time to work on over the past year.
