From a student enrolled our Certificate program: Sprouted beans 🫘 that can’t be chocolate anymore, only a new cacao tree, are found in old pods that are harvested too late.

The beans sprout in the pods all the time. Pick them when they turn 1/3 to 2/3 from an unripe green color.

These were from her neighbor. You see, training and education is so DESPERATELY needed in cocoa. We are so happy to support our students and there neighbors from multiple different countries! The neighbor thought our student could use this to make chocolate. Thanks but…she was given baby cacao trees!

About the saddest picture I could find. Please, help raise awareness or volunteer with to help end child slavery in cocoa farming. You measure a planet by how it treats its children. Zero, human-rights…What would the Even’s or Zeta’s say?! Nahhh help out for humanities sake!
