Created in dialogue with Shangri La’s historic collection of Islamic art and architecture, this fashion editorial—produced as the cover story for our custom media channel Violet—offers a glimpse into the creative campus of the that inspired Taimane’s residency project: an original song inspired by Persian mythology and Hawaiian moʻolelo.⁠

On this World Chocolate Day, we're diving into the most decadent chocolate experience. As the coldest spot in the world where cacao can be grown and the only U.S. state that supports commercial cacao production, Hawaiʻi's chocolate industry is above all unique.
