Kumusta Pusa® Statement on the Use of Artificial Intelligence
At Kumusta Pusa®, we value and recognize the important work of artists, illustrators, writers, designers, and other creative professionals.
We exclusively contract the services of a talented illustrator to bring our original ideas to life and create the lovable characters of Kumusta Pusa®, our Kaibigan, and the Puspin Pals seen in our Kumusta Pusa L💛ves Children’s Books and Activity Books. Our published character artwork and illustrations reflect the skill, creativity, and human artistry of the professionals with whom we collaborate.
At the same time, we responsibly and ethically utilize artificial intelligence as a tool in certain aspects of our creative and business processes, including concept development, brainstorming, research, planning, and selected promotional or digital content. AI helps our small business explore ideas, improve efficiency, and expand our ability to advance our mission of promoting childhood literacy and Filipino cultural awareness.
Transparency is important to us. When content incorporates AI-generated or AI-assisted material, we use available AI labels, designators, or disclosures when appropriate.
We believe technology and human creativity do not have to be opposing forces. Used responsibly, AI can complement—not replace—the imagination, cultural knowledge, artistic skill, and lived experiences that people bring to creative work.
Kumusta Pusa® remains committed to recognizing creatives, respecting intellectual property, using emerging technologies thoughtfully, and creating meaningful experiences that celebrate Filipino culture, literacy, and community.
