Coming to you live via taped delay. I start my new part time job as part of the ship, part of Da Crew! I’ll be helping out with various production duties for Spectrum Sports Hawaii under Da Crew.

First assignment is tomorrow’s OIA High School Football between Farrington vs Leilehua at Farrington.

Then, I’m also assigned to Saturday’s game between Mililani and Saint Louis.

How was your day?

Mine started with a weekly live Q&A session in the FTF group—fellow content creators sharing insights, wins, and struggles. I left feeling inspired, so I jumped on the treadmill and queued up Creativity, Inc. by Ed Catmull.

Twelve minutes in, I noticed something strange—my right foot felt like it was dragging. I ignored it and kept walking. After I finished, I saw the reason: my shoe was completely worn down in the front.

Immediately, my mind jumped to the movie Shaolin Soccer. If you’ve seen it, you know what I mean. If not—no spoilers—but let’s just say the shoes in that movie remind me of my own situation.

On the surface, it looks like these shoes—like my current skill set—are worn out and ready to be thrown away. But with the right support and the right people, even something that seems broken can be transformed. Not restored to what it was, but made better. Stronger. Reimagined.

That’s the power of community.
