Tennessee’s Best Caves Road Trip takes you to 11 of the most scenic and interesting caves you can explore in the Volunteer State. From lake caves that you can swim/kayak into and caves where you can observe thousands of gray bats emerge at dusk to feed, to exploring caverns that are home to America’s tallest and deepest underground waterfall and a caverns boat tour across America’s largest underground lake…you’ll see a little bit of everything that makes Tennessee’s caves so diverse and fun to explore along this route!

The Lost Cove Cave can only be entered past the light from May 1st to August 31st (with permit), but it is well worth seeing from the outside any time of year.

South Carolina’s No Hike/Easy Walk Waterfalls Loop Road Trip takes you to 9 beautiful waterfalls throughout upstate SC! Not a single one of these waterfalls requires a total hike of any more than a mile, and six of the nine you can reach with a short walk under half-a-mile (see waterfalls and length of walks below)...so for waterfall lovers who don't exactly enjoy hiking....this is the perfect trip. This route hugs SC's borders with NC and GA, taking you through small mountain towns and the awesome little city of Greenville, SC where you can have breakfast, brunch or lunch somewhere along the downtown area...before viewing one of the waterfalls on the route - Reedy River Falls - which you can view from a unique suspension bridge. At around 175 miles and 4.5 hours of drive-time, you can complete this waterfall loop in a single day if you get started early!

Then some squirrel hunting and magnet fishing.
Finished the day with Mexican and in bed by 9. Getting up at 5 got him tired and ready for bed+
