Courtney and Scott Campbell opened 4C’s Custom Creations & More in Cadiz this January, bringing a unique mix of custom gifts, handmade décor, and family-centered creativity to the community.

Named after the couple and their two children, 4 C's offers personalized tumblers, t-shirts, garden flags, bags, woodworking, permanent jewelry, and so much more. One of their most popular features is the bead-making station where kids can create their own jewelry, keychains, and pens.

The shop also carries Grizzly Up goat milk soaps from Hopkinsville, handcrafted wood pieces made by Scott, and a variety of gifts perfect for weddings, birthdays, and special occasions.

Located in the back of the store, Ashley Tejada's photography studio offers seasonal photo sessions and themed backdrops throughout the year. Be sure to mark your calendar for their Christmas in July event on July 18, featuring Mr. and Mrs. Santa and holiday photo opportunities before the busy season begins.

A member of our LOCAL team recently stopped by Blush & Bashful Romance Bookshop in Hopkinsville and had the chance to learn more about the story behind this unique local business.

Owner Emily Ezell opened the shop in May 2024 after recognizing a need for a wider selection of romance books than what is typically found in larger chain bookstores. As an avid reader herself, often finishing multiple books each week, she wanted to create a space where fellow book lovers could discover new favorites and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere centered around reading.

In addition to carrying both new and used books, the shop offers gifts and specialty items throughout the store. One feature we especially enjoyed was the "Blind Date with a Book" section, where readers can pick up a wrapped book and discover their next read through a few clues rather than the cover. You'll also notice creative book page art displayed around the shop, adding to its charm.

What makes Emily's story even more impressive is that she also works as a labor and delivery nurse, balancing two careers she genuinely loves. She's supported in the bookstore by her mother Helen, mother-in-law Retha, niece Lily, and high school student Addie.

Whether you're searching for your next romance novel, looking for a unique gift, or simply want a quiet place to sit and read for a while, Blush & Bashful Romance Bookshop is worth a visit. Be sure to ask about their book club while you're there.

We recently had the opportunity to meet Kristy Leer-Putty, owner of TLT - The Little Things Boutique in Hopkinsville, and hear the story behind her growing business.

What started as an idea while working in a children's dental office quickly turned into something much bigger. After seeing a need for more children's clothing and accessories in the area, Kristy began selling from her home before expanding to a mobile boutique and eventually opening the beautiful storefront she calls home today.

While The Little Things Boutique has been in its current location for three years, Kristy has been serving local families since August 2019. Just six months after opening, she expanded beyond children's apparel to include options for infants, tweens, moms, and dads, creating a shopping experience for the whole family.

Right now, the shop is stocked with plenty of festive Fourth of July outfits, Kentucky blue apparel, and other seasonal favorites. We also loved learning about their Young + Wild Sensory Dough and slime products- an organic, kid-friendly option that keeps little hands busy without creating a big mess.

What started as a small coffee shop on South Virginia Street has grown into one of Hopkinsville's favorite gathering places ☕📚

Amanda and April Huff-McClure opened The Corner Coffeehouse on April 1, 2017. After quickly outgrowing their original location, they moved to their current home at 1100 South Main Street in June 2019, where they've continued serving the community ever since.

One of the things we love about The Corner Coffeehouse is that it truly offers something for everyone. With indoor seating, outdoor seating, and cozy spaces throughout, it's a great spot for a coffee date, catching up on work, meeting friends, or simply enjoying a quiet morning.

Their menu features a full espresso lineup along with an entirely vegetarian food menu. Guests can also enjoy house-made pastries and a rotating selection of daily soups, all prepared with care.

Beyond the coffee and food, The Corner Coffeehouse has become a destination for book lovers. Over the years, their used bookstore has continued to grow, offering fiction, non-fiction, special interest titles, and books by local authors. Their Corner Coffeehouse Reading Group has been meeting monthly for eight years and continues to bring readers together from across the community.

It's always inspiring to see local business owners create spaces that become part of the fabric of a community, and The Corner Coffeehouse has certainly done that for Hopkinsville.
