Let me introduce myself...
I'm Kim Collins, the owner and driving force behind Event Services.
You also may recognize me as the former owner of The Market Place in Cottonwood Shores, Texas.
Before The Market Place and GrassRoots Marketing Texas Event Services, I spent more than two decades in the consumer products industry working with major brands like PepsiCo, Anheuser-Busch and Campbell Soup.
I planned corporate events, worked on national programs, and helped execute everything from Super Bowl and World Series events to fundraisers and celebrity experiences.
That experience taught me something invaluable: great events and programs don’t just happen, they’re planned, managed and executed down to the smallest detail.
Then I became an entrepreneur.
Owning my own businesses taught me an entirely different side of success. How to manage budgets, solve problems quickly, build vendor relationships, understand what clients truly need and take personal responsibility for every detail.
Today, I bring corporate level experience with an entrepreneur’s mindset to every event we plan at GrassRoots Marketing Texas Event Services.
I know how to anticipate problems before they happen, pivot when plans change, manage multiple vendors and keep the big picture moving while still paying attention to the little things that guests remember.
This isn’t just event planning for me. It’s the culmination of everything I’ve learned throughout my career.
Experience matters.
Relationships matter.
Details matter.

Last night we were at Wildflower Pilates for an evening all about movement, friendship and FUN!

We kicked things off with a 45-minute Pilates session, then traded the mats for Mahjong, complete with plenty of laughs, friends, prizes and delicious snacks.
And can we talk about the gorgeous charcuterie by Bubbles & Boards ? WOW!
