Because eventually, you realize the story was never just about you. We’re each part of something that began long before us and, God willing, will continue long after we’re gone.

After decades in Arkansas broadcasting, Matt Mosler walked away from a familiar career and followed a calling that eventually led him to Pine Bluff, a city many had already written off.

A four-year-old girl didn't survive the call.

Later, her grieving mother found the first responder who tried to save her, and gave him a letter.
A mother carrying unimaginable grief took the time to console and thank someone else who was
hurting.

He still has the letter today.
And it changed the way he understood why he does the work.
