So the summer is coming to an end and school starts back Monday and also that means deer season is right around the corner so I’m pulling all the deer meat out the freezer and getting it canned up to make room for this year plus the meat is so tender and makes an easy supper. This double cooker sure makes things easier and the house not hot… have yall seen the colored All American canners. That green one has me drooling 🤤 …

Well it don’t look like much but I planted 1000s of flower seeds down the driveway. Now the trick is to keep em watered in this 100°+ weather. But I can’t wait to drive past em everyday or smell them on a walk down the driveway to the mailbox… I’ll keep yall updated. Stay cool and hydrated 🐝💐

Well we took a break from preserving for the weekend. We still harvested around 15lbs of tomatoes and I got peppers I need to go pick. We started the weekend off by bringing 2 new babies to our home, Wilson(7mo) Enzo(6wks) they are Cane Corso so they are large breed but are total lap babies lol then we had friends and family over for floating the river and ended yesterday with a pretty sunset.
I’ve been rethinking the garden layout and definitely decided I’m putting mulch down on all the walk ways in the big garden and figuring out the top garden. I’m over mowing and weedeating for 2 days straight each week.
Fall garden seeds will start being planted the end of July inside and outside by middle of September. But will try a few more direct sown things this week.
