*quick update*
11 months ago, I publicly accepted and announced my calling to preach the uncompromising gospel of Jesus Christ in front of my family (Cherry Davenport, Charlotte Davenport, LaShawn Danielle, Ventress Johnson, Devin Davenport), my pastor (Dr. Marcus D. Cosby (Cosby Crew, and my church (Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church). And I dare remember my LS Litiesha Blue, who showed up without me telling her why...... but she was there.
I will begin my intensive preparation towards becoming licensed to preach and then attend seminary. Because of the mandate and mantle this requires, I haven't been on social media recently and will likely not "return" until this part of the process is complete. My SINCEREST desire is to please God, represent Christ in a way that draws people to HIM, and RIGHTLY divide the word of truth. I want to be the BEST preacher of God's word that HE wants me to be. I understand this takes sacrifice, seclusion, and STUDYING!
I've recently asked you all to after discovering I've been selected to participate in a fundraiser/contest benefitting the National Breast Cancer Foundation as a FabOver40 Vote Contest -2024! If I'm ever allowed to help someone else, I WILL, which is what this competition is for me. Breast cancer has ravished our communities, and we have to use all of our power to fight back. I will continue to ask you to (Daily) so that WE can help this fantastic organization in its fight against this awful disease.
If it's not too much to ask, please keep me in your prayers as I work towards becoming the person my life experiences have shaped me to be this entire time.
