This morning I had a tooth removed. At the end of the extraction, the dentist asked me if I would like to keep the gold filling - "It might be worth something."
Firstly, I have no memory of ever having a gold filling. Why would a dentist do this without mentioning it?
Secondly, is it really worth something? I offered to pay the bill with it but the receptionist just laughed.

Will this steak make me sick

It expired today and I know browning can be normal. It smells a little bit funny (but I can't really tell because the smell of raw meat makes me nauseated anyways). I just added salt and pepper and cooking it now. I paid $27 for it so I'm gonna eat it... hopefully i won't regret it tomorrow at work

I built a 7-foot privacy fence. My neighbor raised his by 2 feet and put a camera facing into my backyard.........
I've been having problems with this neighbor since they moved in years ago. They originally built their fence 2 feet into my property in early 2020. I had to pay for a boundary survey and lawyer to get them to correct their mistake. I decided to build a privacy fence and be done with them once and for all this past November. One month later, they raised the height of their fence, and this pops up (facing front to back). The police won't do anything, and I can't afford a civil suit. (Texas) So, I'm asking, what can I plant or do on MY side to make it inaccessible to him...................?

I stayed in a hotel in the Southeastern U.S. and when I went to make coffee in the morning, the spot where the coffee bag is supposed to go was filled with this, it looks like wood chips or something. I'm wondering if maybe it's some sort of root, maybe someone was trying to make some weird tea or something?
I should've taken more/better pics, sorry about that - I was tired, and only took the pic to show the front desk, only just now thought to post it here.

This week has already been a lot on me and today at work I’m waiting on my tables the same as I always do. I proceeded to check this table out and the lady asks
Lady: How much would you like for a tip?
Me: Whatever you give me is fine.
Lady: what do you need?
Me:Nothing
Man with the lady: How old are you?
Me:24
Him: you have kids?
Me: yes a son, he’s 4.
Her: if he needed anything how much would it be?
Me: He needs a lot I’m not sure( I smile and walk away)
Her: you pay all your bills?
Me:yes ma’am
Her: if you had a pay a bill today what would it be?
Me: Rent
her:How much your rent?
Me: $375
Her: Okay I’m leaving you a $375 tip, I’m paying your rent for august.
Y’all I couldn’t do anything but cry!!! This was a blessing in disguise! 😭😭😇❤️

My sister destroyed a $2k brand new fridge by denting it, putting glue & glitter in the ice maker, glued door handles shut, glued sink faucets, glued shower heads, and put glitter down the drains/all over the floor in a bathroom, and destroyed $200 worth of paint all because she got first dibs of our late grandfathers house and her husband told her no. So, my fiancé and I were next in line and we decided to purchase it but she hates me so she had a tantrum.

What do?!

Added a screenshot of a text convo between my sister and I. This convo was BEFORE my fiancé and I decided to officially purchase the house. We were planning on building a house on the property instead, but quickly realized purchasing and renovating was a better decision financially for us. I tried to talk to my sister before my fiancé and I made any decisions but she ghosted me for over a month. Then when she found out we were going to purchase, she had her tantrum.
