Emma was the inspiration for us starting Starlight Outreach and Rescue and ultimately this podcast as a way to educate pet parents and keep pets in good homes!

In Loving Memory of Emma Starlight Hyde.

Eight years ago today, the world lost a bright and compassionate soul far too soon. Emma Starlight Hyde’s love for animals and her gentle spirit continue to shine through everything we do. Together with her mother, Emma devoted countless hours to helping animals in need, fostering and volunteering at a local shelter where she crossed paths with our president—her passing ultimately inspiring the creation of Starlight Outreach and Rescue.
From her kindness, a movement grew. Every rescue we’ve taken in, every adoption we’ve celebrated, and every act of care for both pets and their people through our outreach efforts carries a piece of Emma’s light.
Today, we honor her life and the incredible legacy she left behind. We invite everyone whose lives have been touched by Starlight to pause and remember Emma—say a pray for her family, and if you feel moved to, make a donation in her honor so her light can continue to shine through the work she inspired.
