When I lived in SLO 98 was go go go 24/7. I worked at KSLY, Cheap Thrills, DJ'd Monday nights at Tortilla Flats 80s night and on weekends I would take the train down to Santa Barbara Saturday and do a Saturday night shift till midnight at KHTY then go hang out on State Street and then kick back at a coffee shop that played stuff like mazzy star, the smiths, the cure till around 3-4am. Then I would go back to the radio station for a nap and then DJ 6am - noon on Sunday. But my Sunday was not over at that time as I would sprint to the train station to catch the noon train back to SLO and then Sunday night I would be back on KSLY hosting The Other Side. More than once people would call Sunday night and be like weren't you just on the air in SB earlier :)

I was trying to get hired on full time at KHTY but got word from my boss that the station was probably going to be short lived and sure enough they went through a format change and let everyone go.
