Be Part of History!
Support the Rosenberg Railroad Museumâs Heritage Rail Project đâ¨
Dear Friends of the Rosenberg Railroad Museum,
Weâre thrilled to announce the launch of our Heritage Rail Project! This exciting initiative will bring over 380 feet of new track, along with three historic railcars and a switcher engine, right to the heart of the Rosenberg Railroad Museum! With your support, we are preserving and celebrating the regionâs rich railroading legacy for generations to come.
Weâre on track (literally!): After completing engineering and construction documents and temporarily relocating our beloved MOPAC caboose, civil improvements have begun, and track installation is officially underway as of November 4th! The next exciting milestone will be laying the new railroad track in anticipation of the arrival of three historic railcars and a switcher engine from the Gulf Coast Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society (GCC-NRHS), expected to join our collection in early 2025.
This project will allow us to offer immersive experiences like never before, inviting the community to explore our regionâs railroading history up close. But we need your help to bring this dream to completion!
Join Us in Making History!
