Behind the smiles and dedication, many struggle with burnout, financial stress, compassion fatigue, and the emotional toll of euthanasia. These challenges are real—and they deserve compassion and support.

If I could write to you,
this is what I would say:

Thank you.
For every walk.
For every meal.
For every silly game and quiet night by your side.
For loving me so completely that my whole world was safe.

I know your tears fall heavy now.
I feel the ache in your chest.
But please remember—
when you let me go,
you gave me the greatest gift:
freedom from pain, wrapped in love.

Don’t think of me as gone.
Think of me as changed.
My paws no longer touch the floor,
but they leave prints in your dreams,
your memories,
your heart.

If I could write,
I would sign every page with the same promise:
I am yours.
Forever.
And I’ll be waiting, tail wagging,
when the bridge finally brings us home together. 🌈🐾❤️

These resonate with so many people because the skies look so different now someone they love is up there. We look for them because we miss them, we miss them because we love them. Always 🧡

She builds shelters, fills bowls, traps with care, and names the unnamed.
She is a mother 🕊️
not by birth,
but by fierce, unwavering compassion.
