A National Prayer
OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
We who are called by Your Son’s Holy Name humble ourselves before you, and we pray and seek Your face, and we turn from our own wicked ways, both as individuals and as a nation.
We confess our collective sins of carelessness, of being poor stewards of Your Blessings, of not seeking and following Your Word, of disengaging from matters of public concern, of allowing our representatives to rule us outside of Your Will for this land of Yours.
We know that by these omissions we are guilty as a nation. We are guilty of sacrificing our children to Moloch, of engaging in unjust foreign wars, of allowing mass-murdering communist thieves to run our institutions, of opening our borders to foreign enemies, of poisoning the minds of our youth with woke ideology and their bodies with Fentanyl, and of allowing foreign interests to control our money supply and tax us on our labor. In short, we as a nation have worshiped other gods.
Father, we ask, we pray, that you hear us from Heaven and forgive our sins and that you will heal our land.
We know that only we who believe in you, only we who believe on the Holy name of your perfect Son, Jesus Christ, who willingly took our sins upon himself so that we can be free to do Your Will, we know that only we can actually do Your Will. We know that we cannot lay our own sins on your and our enemies.
We know that even we who believe in You are your enemies whenever we stop doing Your Will, whether by intent or by neglect.
We who forgive our enemies so that you may forgive us, we who are heirs to Your blessings in Christ, we know that only we can follow your commandments and seek Your face and turn from our wicked ways that lead us away from You, we know that it is we who must repent and seek Your face (not "them") so that You may hear us and heal our land.
We pray that You give us wisdom to select servants who represent our will in this free government that You have blessed us with, even as we represent Your Will here on earth.
We pray that You give us the endurance, the moral conviction, and intestinal fortitude to fight only for what is right and good in your sight.
We pray that all traitors, all infiltrators, and all enemies of You and of Your Kingdom be exposed to the light of Your day so that the people of this land can judge them rightly and deal with them accordingly.
We pray that You bring to each of us opportunities to preach the good news of Your Gospel to those who need You, who are open to You, and who want to turn from their own evil ways as we continue to turn away from ours.
Father, we pray that we become the individuals who, together, can form a nation that freely operates under Your Holy Will, that we become a people who deserve good leaders who fear only You.
For all these things we pray in the Holy Name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
