There are many things in our heart that are occupying space . Whether that’s something or someone.. GOD never competes. The first commandment GOD gave to Moses is that “You shall have no other gods before me”

Jesus said you can hang the law & all the prophets on these 2 decrees ..

”And Jesus replied to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself [that is, unselfishly seek the best or higher good for others].’“

GOD is priority. There’s no debate. But He’s a gentleman so he won’t force himself on us. So the responsibility is on us to examine what is taking his place. What has rank over him ?
