We were devastated to learn of the passing of our colleague, musical inspiration and best friend of a heart attack yesterday. Sheila was the heart and soul of Cypress Winds and we will miss her greatly.

Announcement – Winning Composition for the Cypress Winds Clarinet Quartet 2nd Annual Call for Scores Competition
The Cypress Winds Clarinet Quartet is pleased to announce the winning composition in our second annual clarinet quartet Composition Competition. We have selected “Birdsongs” written by Lynn Blake John for 3 Bb’s and Bass Clarinet. We would like to thank everyone for their entries and tell you the judging was very difficult as there were many excellent compositions to choose from. We look forward to continuing our yearly competition in 2020.
