He wobbled out like a runway model gone wild, dragging a sparkly necklace and holding up a crumpled piece of paper. With a proud grin he announced, “I found the best treasure in the whole world!”
Then he handed me the paper — a crayon drawing of us holding hands — and whispered while wrapping his scarf-caped arms around my legs, “This one is you and me forever. No more hiding… just hugs.”

He might look intimidating, but he’s just a giant teddy bear when it comes to his favorite human 🥺❤️ The pure love and trust in this video is everything. Drop a ❤️ if this melted your heart!

I spent years thinking the hardest part of bedtime was just getting my daughter to fall asleep. It was a hilarious realization to discover she’d literally wake up out of a dead sleep just to gatekeep her dad from me. Toddlers have absolutely zero chill. How fiercely do your kids guard their favorite parent?

I have officially come to the realization that my toddler is living in an entirely different dimension of physics.
I gave him a plate of pancakes this morning, and he suddenly burst into tears, crying like his heart was absolutely broken. When I asked him what was wrong, he pointed at the plate and screamed, "My pancake is looking at me with its wrong eye!"
It was a completely flat, regular piece of bread. There were no eyes. There was no face.
But according to him, the pancake’s emotional state was completely ruined because of how I flipped it, and he refused to eat it until we gave it a proper burial in the backyard garden.
I am currently standing by the tomato plants, mourning a breakfast food, completely questioning my entire reality.
What is the most completely insane thing your kid has thrown a massive tantrum over today? Let me know in the comments!
