We talked to our vet and he’s pretty optimistic since he has tried to get up several times By the way, it’s a gelding. He has also been on his side and sternal so these are all positive things. The vet said give him a little time and I’m headed inside to get some dex for him. Fingers crossed!!

MishMish has only been here with us for a little over a month. Arriving incredibly skinny and covered with wounds, but with an incredibly determined strong mind. Refeeding an emaciated horse is a very slow and careful process.

Whilst he has a long, long, way to go..
Whilst it’s still very early days..
He’s heading in the right direction..
His mind is strong we all just hope his body catches up 🤞

I guess I have learned my lesson. The same rules apply to vans and stalls. When they are a rockin’, don’t come knockin’. 😳🤪
