Out of respect for those impacted by the catastrophic flooding in Central Texas I've decided to take down my collab announcement, and repost when it's more appropriate.

As someone who has lived through multiple life changing natural disasters, (including 61" of rain at my home during Hurricane Harvey) I'm painfully aware of the devastation that occurs during flooding events of this magnitude.

My heart goes out to those impacted, and if there's anything I can do to help with the recovery efforts please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

It's happening! The Wendy's x Takis meal drops on Friday with new Fuego Fries and a new Takis chicken sandwich!

The Takis Fuego Chicken Sandwich features a "seasoned Spicy Chicken filet topped with crushed Takis Fuego® chips, Chili Lime Sauce, creamy corn spread and a cheddar cheese sauce."

Then the Fuego Fries are actually put into a bag, topped with chili-lime seasoning, and then shaken to get everything nicely coated.

Are you giving these a try Friday? I'll be there... the creamy corn spread has me a little afraid, but I trust Wendy's!

If you don't understand the meme allow me to explain. Capsaicin (the compound that makes chile peppers spicy) can't be metabolized by the body, so it burns just as bad on the way out as it did on the way in.
