Currently, there seems to be an IG bug where comments can’t be viewed even if you see the number of comments and click on it. They will be blank on some post. I’m seeing this at every level from influencers to regular folks.

I’m also seeing this on PC google chrome browser so it’s not just affecting mobile phones that have been updated. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

Mobile phone security tip:

Stop playing and double check that you’re using a strong PIN / password on your mobile phones!

This video shows a attack using a weak password but understand Android has MANY operating systems so it’s ALSO a common target for hackers, thieves or shady alphabet groups.

Using a simple lighting USB adapter cross over cable to a phone running brute force tools you can get got!

Mitigation tips:
1. NEVER use any pin or password more than once in life.

2. NEVER use personal info as part of your pin or password such as kids birthdays, etc.

3. ALWAYS enable “erase data” if more than 10 incorrect password attempts are run on your phone. If your device does not have erase phone option after X number of failed attempts, this could be done to crack your phones PIN or password.

4. DISABLE facial login feature.

5. ENCRYPT your mobile phone and keep the recovery key in a water/fire proof safe or bank safety deposit box.

6. To block “SIM SWAP” attacks, enable a SIM card PIN and keep in a secure place as mentioned in #5. This type of attack is used by scammers to “swap” telephone numbers by stealing you’re personal info, calling your phone provider to route your phone number to THEIR scam phone to take over your phone and they will use this to reset your email password and spoof your social media accounts.

Don't Do That! - "Block device use until these required apps are installed if they are assigned to the user/device" doesn't mix with AP White Glove. Listen and learn.

My colleague Nathan Bridges is fond of exclaiming "DDT, Don't Do That!" when calling out bad practices that are guaranteed to get you in a bind. Sometimes however, misunderstanding technology can come about unintentionally from bad documentation, questionable design choices, or both.

I stumbled upon this Microsoft tool called “Mover” which can be used to copy OneDrive user data to ANOTHER M365 (aka Office 365) Azure tenant for migration use case scenarios. Adam from Twitter was using this to copy TB’s of data to another OneDrive subscription. Good to know this free tool can be used for this situation.

Well this is not good. Major security exploit is actively being run for PulseSecure VPN which is a major VPN enterprise client. 🤦🏾‍♂️

CVE-2021-22893 allows remote code-execution (RCE) and is being used in the wild by nation-state cyberattackers to compromise VPN appliances in defense, finance and government orgs.

This is a BIG deal! Deploying Windows 10 / Server (in 6 minutes) OVER the m**o cloud (internet) via a GitHub repository! You all need to follow David over on Twitter even if you don't have a account if you're a Deployment Engineer that manages large scale OS deployments.

More to come. I plan to make a YouTube video demonstrating this end to end once I go through all his documentation.

Very helpful tip from Microsoft Mechanics on using Teams to automate meeting notes as a transcript that can be published in OneNote or other office app. I’m going to start doing this as a meeting host for demos.

Do you wish you could take better notes during meetings or classes held on Microsoft Teams? Jeremy Chapman from the Microsoft 365 team demonstrates a new way...
