Why do so many women in other nations, countries have all of these babies and children without fathers? And is it the Church's or the Ministers' responsibility to take care of them and feed them? The Word of God is clear that God hates divorce ( Malachi 2:16 ) and that, if possible, a husband and wife should seek reconciliation and forgiveness before deciding to end their marriage ( Luke 11:4 ) ( Ephesians 4:32 ). However, God acknowledges that divorce will occur because we are sinful human beings ( Matthew 19:8 ). The Bible does not mention the practice of paying child support, but it does address the importance of caring for one’s family, especially children.

The book of Psalms speaks of how children are to be treasured: “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward” ( Psalm 127:3, ). “As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him” ( Psalm 103:13 ). ( Proverbs 13:22) says good parents make sure their family is cared for after they die: “A good man leaves an inheritance for their children’s children.” Jesus was adamant in teaching that children should have a high priority in our lives ( Matthew 19:13–15 ).

In regard to monetary provision in the form of child support, we can glean some principles from 1 Timothy 5, which addresses how the church should care for widows and the elderly. “Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever” (1 Timothy 5:8). While “paying child support” in the modern sense is not a direct command of the Bible, providing for one’s family is clearly a godly imperative and God-honoring practice.

Christians are also called to obey the laws of the land ( Romans 13:1–7 ). If a court judge enforces a divorce agreement in which one parent must pay child support, including spousal support (alimony), to the other parent, then that parent must do so in compliance with the law. Regardless of emotions, real or perceived debts, or other personal circumstances, the parent ordered to pay child support must agree to do so for the benefit of their children. Colossians 3:18–25 details how a Christian household ought to function, ending with this: “Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism” (verse 25). If one or both parents feel they have been hurt, they must allow God to handle the dispensing of justice. A parent’s first priority should be the care of his or her children, not achieving revenge or otherwise satisfying oneself.

Divorce is never a part of God’s original plan, but involved parties can still honor Him by caring for their children post-divorce through child support payments, quality time, and respecting the other parent. With God, Christian parents can persevere through these trials (James 1:12). Divorced parents would do well to pray regularly for their children, for their children’s relationship with the other parent, and for their own personal healing (Philippians 1:6; 2 Thessalonians 3:3; 3 John 1:4). Amen.

The biblical instruction to “dress modestly” is found in 1 Timothy 2:9. As a pastoral epistle, 1 Timothy is a letter of instruction and encouragement written by the Apostle Paul to Elder Timothy, who was overseeing the Church in Ephesus. Apostle Paul calls for “petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving [to] be made for all people . . . that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness” (1 Timothy 2:1). He talks about God’s desire for “all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:4). He describes Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and His mediatorial work between God and mankind (1 Timothy 2:5–6). Then he writes, “Therefore, I want the men everywhere to pray, lifting holy hands without anger or disputing. I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, adorning themselves, not with elaborate hairstyles or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.” These commands for behavior and appearance are linked to worship of God and public witness.
First Peter 3:1-4 gives similar instructions: “Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives. Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.” Peter also gives instructions to husbands regarding being considerate of their wives, who are “heirs with you of the gracious gift of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers” (1 Peter 3:7).
At the core of dressing modestly is reverence for God. Rather than seeking to garner attention through appearance, godly women are to seek to glorify God. Of course, this same principle also applies to men. Both women and men are called to honor God in all aspects of their lives, including in how they dress. Instead of focusing on a societally impressive exterior, believers are to grow in godly character. Rather than being known for their clothing or hairstyle, they should be known for how they honor God. Jesus told His followers, “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:14-16).
Modesty also has to do with respect for others. Our outward appearance does communicate things to the watching world. When Jesus Royal Believers Saints are overly concerned about externals, flaunting wealth or beauty, or flashing cultural status symbols, the world misunderstands who God is. When we dress in “respectable apparel,” with modesty (in an unassuming, humble, reverent, respectful way), we better demonstrate the truth of God. We'd better demonstrate that our worth is in Him, not in the things the world pursues.
Our appearance also affects fellow Christian Believers. First Corinthians 10:31-33 says, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks, or the church of God, even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.” We should be cognizant of how our choice of apparel affects our sisters and brothers in Christ, and we should be willing to lay down our rights for the sake of their spiritual maturation when necessary (1 Corinthians 10:23–33 ) ( Romans 14). We should not purposefully encourage others to sin.
Dressing modestly often requires us to check our motives. Are we dressing a particular way to draw attention to ourselves? To feel superior to others? To engender jealousy in others? To incite lust? Out of idolatry? If so, we need to check our hearts and possibly change our clothes. It’s also important to consider the cultural and situational context. For example, in the United States, it would be immodest to wear a ball gown to serve at a soup kitchen. But the same gown might be appropriate at a charity fundraising event. Our clothes should demonstrate a right understanding of God, a right understanding of ourselves, and respect for the people we are around.
Proverbs 31:30 gives this wisdom: “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” May our clothing choices be grounded in glorifying God and focusing on that which is of eternal worth (Matthew 6:19–21). JUST GOING THROUGH THE RELIGIOUS MOTIONS!

Dear Holy Spirit in Jesus Christ, have Your Way In This Message and Teaching and lead us into All Truth. Amen...In Isaiah 29, Isaiah is prophesying against Jerusalem and, by extension, the rest of Judah (verse 8). He predicts judgment on the kingdom due to their sin, judgment that will come through invading armies ( Isaiah 29:3–4 ). However, the Prophet also affirms that God is incredibly gracious and will restore Judah after bringing justice upon their enemies ( Isaiah 29:5, 18–24 ). In the middle of Isaiah’s prophecy, he diagnoses Judah’s problem of hypocrisy, which is bringing about their judgment: “These people come near to Him with their mouth and honor Him with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him. Their worship of Him ( God said ) is based on merely human rules they have been taught” ( Isaiah 29:13 ). While the Israelites were saying the right things, their hearts were far from God in Jesus Christ.

The word Heart is a common metaphor. In English, the heart often represents someone’s emotions. When we say that someone has a “heart of stone,” we do not mean that his blood-pumping organ has been mineralized; we mean that he is unmoved by emotional appeals. When an ancient Israelite used the word heart metaphorically, he was thinking of the center of someone’s soul, the place where he makes all his decisions and experiences all his emotions. The “heart” was the location of one’s will and intellect. Therefore, when the Bible commands us to love something “with all our hearts,” it means loving with everything We, have on the inside.

When God said that “their Hearts are far from Him,” He meant that they had chosen other loyalties besides God. While they might have sounded religious, they did not love Him or obey Him. Their thoughts and their decisions were bent away from God. The NET Bible has a helpful translation here: “These people say they are loyal to God; they say wonderful things about God, but they are not( actually ) loyal to Him. Their worship consists of nothing but man-made ritual” ( Isaiah 29:13 ). In English, We might say that the Israelites worshiped “but their hearts weren’t in it, Just like in our day just putting on a religious show Sunday after Sunday.”

In the New Testament, Jesus Christ quotes this verse in an important confrontation with the Pharisees ( Mark 7:6–7 ). They, too, had hearts far from God. The Pharisees pretended to care about God’s law and commandments by following outward acts like hand washing, but they did not care about God on the inside. When they met God in the Person of Jesus, they tried to kill Him! After quoting ( Isaiah 29:13 ), Jesus scathingly summarized their heart condition: “You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human religious traditions” ( Mark 7:8 ). The Pharisees still did religious things. Still, they had forgotten the reasons behind their actions. They said the right things, but their hearts were far from God.

As Jesus' Royal Believers, we face the same temptation as the hypocritical Israelites. Sometimes, it is easy to maintain the outward appearance of religious obedience by following basic rules, yet we lack any real relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ in our hearts. We start “Just going through the religious motions” without growing in love for God or for others. We might faithfully go to religiously built Human-Made Buildings every Sunday, but ignore God the rest of the week. Like the Pharisees and the ancient Israelites, “faking it” is not spiritually healthy, and it will eventually catch up with us.

In, Isaiah 29:13 is a stark reminder that rules and rituals, by themselves, cannot please God. God wants true righteousness. God wants you to love Him with “all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” ( Mark 12:30 ). “For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings” ( Hosea 6:6). and also study the Book of Hebrews. Amen.

But here’s the promise: joy is coming. Not maybe, not hope so, not there’s a good chance. The Most High God says, joy is on the way. You’re going to laugh again, you’re going to dream again, you’re going to love again. You’re going to see God’s blessing in such a way that all you can do is laugh. Laugh in amazement, laugh in gratitude, laugh at the goodness of God. Many of you have been faithful. You’ve given, served, and helped others. Now God has some of these “cannot contain” blessings coming your way. He’s not limited by your job, by your salary, by what family you come from. He knows how to increase you. One good break, one idea, one inheritance, one contract can put you into more than enough. I’m asking you to get ready for overflow. Exalted Lord Jesus, we approach Your throne on behalf of our pastors, ministers, and spiritual leaders who have been entrusted with the awesome responsibility of shepherding Your spiritual sons and daughters there in the great nation of Japan. We lift them up to receive a fresh impartation and infilling of Your Holy Spirit. Anoint them continually with Your presence, power, and clear prophetic vision.

We ask that You protect their lives, marriages, families, and personal God-ordained ministries from the enemy’s relentless assaults. Guard our heavenly family there in Japan from temptations of pride, lust, greed, or any other snares that could disqualify them from leadership. Defend their integrity and reputation as they advance Your Kingdom. Surround them with loyal friends and intercessors to provide wise counsel.

Increase their discernment to identify and resist false doctrines or demonic influences infiltrating the church. Grant them prophetic instincts to recognize the tactics and strategies Satan employs to divide, distract, or scatter congregations.
