Did you know there are over 1000 Gnomes in Wroclaw? 🇵🇱

Wroclaw is the 4th biggest city in Poland 🇵🇱 and famous for its gnomes.

It all started with a political protest in the 1980s – the so-called „Orange Alternative” movement – to show dissatisfaction with the communist regime. The protesters used gnome figures.

The first statue wherever was installed in 2001 with Papa Gnome. 2005 the invasion of Gnomes began 😁
