Many “churches”, yet the Lord Jesus Christ founded only ONE Church. Matthew 16:18
“And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
The church of Jesus Christ began in AD 33 as recorded in Acts chapter 2. To be a part of the Church, you must follow/obey the Acts chapter 2 verse 38 pattern (also
see Luke 24:47).
True men of God preach that the Lord Jesus is the Only God, repentance, water baptism in Jesus' Name, receiving the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance, living holy & abiding in the Apostles’ doctrine.
The Lord Jesus will return for the selfsame Church He Himself began. Not a manmade religious group.
