The thing about homemade flaxseed is you can make the thickness and hold customized to your hair type and density. I add more water for light hold and less for stronger hold. I also find that it flakes less and doesn’t cause skin irritation. Here is a recipe I use often https://youtu.be/gS2UJDs1mng

Proverbs 8:13 says that God hates perverse speech.

Perverse speech refers to language that is deceptive, harmful, and morally twisted. It's characterized by words that are untruthful, divisive, and that undermine positive values and relationships. Essentially, it's the opposite of speech that is truthful, kind, and constructive

If you get lice, it’s important to act quickly to treat the infestation and prevent it from spreading. Here’s what you can do:

1. Treat the Infestation

• Use an Over-the-Counter (OTC) Lice Treatment: Buy a medicated shampoo, lotion, or cream containing permethrin or pyrethrin. Follow the instructions carefully.
• Prescription Treatments: If OTC treatments don’t work, consult a doctor for prescription options like spinosad, ivermectin, or malathion.
• Manual Removal: Use a fine-toothed lice comb to remove lice and nits (lice eggs) from the hair. Comb wet hair for best results, and repeat this process every few days for at least two weeks.

2. Clean Your Environment

• Wash Bedding and Clothing: Wash items like bedding, clothing, and hats in hot water (at least 130°F/54°C) and dry them on high heat.
• Vacuum Furniture and Floors: Focus on areas where the infested person has spent time.
• Seal Non-Washable Items: Place stuffed animals, pillows, or other items that can’t be washed into sealed plastic bags for two weeks to ensure lice and nits die.

3. Prevent Spreading

• Avoid close head-to-head contact with others.
• Do not share personal items like hats, combs, or hair accessories.
• Check household members for lice, and treat them if necessary.

4. Monitor for Recurrence

• Check hair regularly for signs of lice and nits over the next few weeks.
• Repeat the lice treatment as directed, often in 7–10 days, to kill newly hatched lice before they lay eggs.

If the infestation persists despite proper treatment, seek professional medical advice.

Your child’s hair is growing but if it is dry and breaking, it might not be retaining the growth.

Make sure she is eating nutritious foods and does not have any nutrient deficiency.

Keep a hair routine and stay consistent. Use healthy oils on her scalp to massage and ends to boost growth and prevent breakage:
• Castor Oil – Thickens hair and promotes scalp circulation
• Peppermint Oil – Stimulates hair follicles (always dilute with a carrier oil)
• Batana Oil – Great for edges and thinning areas
• Rosemary Oil – Proven to boost hair growth
• Jamaican Black Castor Oil – Nourishes roots and seals moisture

Use moisturizing products to help prevent breakage. Use protein treatment to strengthen the hair.

✨ Bonus Tips:
• Trim split ends regularly
• Sleep with a satin bonnet or pillowcase
• Be patient—natural hair grows about ½ inch per month on average!
