Did you know❓❓❓ skin care and cosmetics were in the days of old. (Nothing new under the sun ☀️right?)
In the Bible we see that there was a beautification process that took place with Queen Esther and the potential mates for King Xerxes. 6 months of oil and myrrh and 6 months with perfumes and cosmetics. I love this story when I dug deeper into what olive oil and myrrh do I was amazed to find out that these have so many amazing benefits. They were used back in the ancient times to cleanse, heal, and moisturize the skin from many types of skin disease that were more common back then and after being treated for 6 months with the oils the other 6 months were used to infuse you with perfumes and cosmetics.
are you in the beautification process waiting to be presented to your king? What exactly is the beautification process to me? I believe that it is a complete change in your mind,body, and soul. Jesus wants us to be cleansed from all things before being presented to our husbands. So as we look and see how the oils and the myhrr were to cleanse the body, we can begin to see that Jesus wants to cleanse our wounds and help heal our wounds from the inside out so that way we do not go into the next season of our life with those wounds open and not being able to be the queen that we should be to our kings here on earth. Think about it are you in the beautification process, what good work is the Lord trying to do in you before you go onto your next season??
