This is my official statement: Yes Mildred Amos is my very dear friend. I have been there with her since she received the first of many phone calls regarding her son. I would appreciate if everyone would stop calling me asking me questions. No!!! She and I don’t want to take to the media. Please give her some time and space. I have been with her every day since she received the news. Please give his mother some space.

The mother of the deceased individual found in Buffalo Bayou earlier this week has identified him as Keyo Kingsley. (pictured to the far right)

Keyo was recovered from Buffalo Bayou on January 6, an incident that has sparked ongoing concern among Houstonians, many of whom continue to seek answers.

His mother shared the following message on Facebook:

“Good evening, Facebook family and friends. Yes, my son Keyo Kingsley has received his wings. Thank you, Jesus—he rests in your arms.”

Prayers are lifted for Keyo’s mother and all of his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. 🕊️

We had a great drink distribution in Acres Homes . Thank you New Beginnings Holy Tabernacle under the great leadership of Pastor Timothy and First Lady Tori Stewart. They have always opened the church for any community giveaway that Shining Stars Leadership Academy has. Thanks to Maxine Lane-Seals for calling people to show up, Burnita Diane Shepard for always supporting , Margarita Ladi stoping by to volunteer. Just a few pictures from the pop up event. The cases went fast. Our next event January 17,2026 free grocery and supply giveaway for our senior citizens. John Marsden thank you for always looking out for me.
